You can enjoy the first pizza while leisurely waiting for the next one, allowing you to truly appreciate the freshness at its best.Classic Margherita: The crust is beautifully browned all the way to the cornicione (the edge), with a crispy exterior and a chewy interior. The sweet tomato sauce, juicy mozzarella cheese, and basil come together in a simple yet delightful way, highlighting the flavor of the dough.Special Pizza Loaded with Toppings: The second pizza that arrived was packed with colorful vegetables like bell peppers and eggplant, along with rich meat flavors. The juiciness of the overflowing toppings combined with the richness of the cheese provides a different level of satisfaction compared to the first pizza. Conclusion: Ideal for Enjoying Freshly Baked Pizza at a Relaxed PaceSince pizzas are served one at a time, this place is more suited for those who want to enjoy a leisurely meal while engaging in conversation and soaking in the restaurant's atmosphere, rather than for a quick bite. The quality of the dough is high, and you can fully enjoy the unique aroma that comes from wood-fired baking, making this a true gem for pizza lovers.Parking is available for three cars: one space is located sideways in front of the restaurant, and two more spaces are at the back of the parking lot, accessible through the entrance marked by two yellow poles on the right side when facing the restaurant. (The restaurant's sign is visible.) Less
You can witness the masterful skills of a pizza artisan up close while enjoying delicious pizza—that's what it’s all about. I won’t ramble on, so just go and experience it for yourself! Haha. Each ingredient was perfectly balanced, with the seasoning and baking just right. Every bite was a revelation!I also got to pet Theo! ( ^ω^ )♡
This was my first visit, and I was pleasantly surprised to be greeted by a Golden Retriever as soon as I entered the restaurant right on time for my reservation. The pizza I ordered was delicious, and I had a wonderful time! I would love to come back when I'm in Sendai again. ✨
I had the Margherita pizza, which was lightly baked to a perfect crisp. Even as someone with a small appetite, I finished a whole slice easily. The salad was made with fresh vegetables and paired perfectly with a delicious dressing that complemented the pizza. I also enjoyed a glass each of white and red wine, and I was very satisfied.

After a two-year wait, I finally made a reservation at a restaurant I had heard rumors about. It seems that making a reservation is relatively easy for one person. I ordered the Margherita pizza, prosciutto and mozzarella, along with a small bottle of beer and a decanter of white wine. The pizza was delicious, and the dog there was adorable. I expected the total to be just over JPY 5000 based on the prices listed on the menu, but it ended up being over JPY 1000 more. If anyone knows why, please let... More

I ordered a beer and the summer vegetable sausage pizza. The pizza was just the right size for one person, not too big. The sweetness of the summer vegetables complemented the savory sausage perfectly, creating a delicious balance. Sitting at the counter was a great experience, allowing me to watch the chef's skillful preparation up close. As a bonus, the resident golden retriever is incredibly cute and loves to be petted — a must-visit spot for dog lovers!

During my meal, I noticed they had to turn away several same-day reservation calls, which shows just how popular this place is.Today, I ordered the Margherita DOC and Romana pizzas, along with an assorted platter of buffalo mozzarella and prosciutto, and a carafe of house wine. I was seated in a spot where I could see the kitchen, and it was enjoyable to watch the prosciutto being sliced from the whole leg and to see the professional pizza dough-making process that is recognized internationally. Feeling the infrared heat from the pizza oven added to the lively atmosphere, which was fantastic.Starting with the assorted platter, the prosciutto was incredibly delicious. It wasn’t too salty, juicy, and simply the best! The buffalo mozzarella was also great. As for the carafe, the refreshing acidity of the Sangiovese paired perfectly with the dishes. I heard the chef trained in Naples, so it might be a wine from the Campania region. Very nice. Now, onto the pizzas—the taste and baking of the dough were outstanding! First, the Margherita, made with luxurious buffalo mozzarella cheese from the renowned IOVINE company, was exquisite. I thought about trying to buy this cheese online, but it seems to be a special order for commercial use, making it hard to find for regular consumers. The dough was just too good—absolutely the best! Next, the Romana pizza, which also had a Margherita base, retained the freshness of cherry tomatoes, and the combination of oregano's bitterness and the umami of anchovies was wonderful! I loved this one too.Overall, the quality is exceptionally high, so if you haven't experienced it yet, I highly recommend it! It was a great meal! Less

So, we ordered a Margherita and the daily special: 240g of roasted red chicken thigh from the à la carte menu. We decided to see how we felt and add a pizza later if we could manage it.The pizza had a crispy crust even in the center, with a nice tang from the tomatoes, and we finished it in no time. The red chicken was cooked in a Dutch oven in the pizza oven. The skin was crispy while the inside remained juicy, and we devoured it quickly as well. Still feeling a bit hungry, we decided to add a Marinara since we had come all this way!At 6 PM, all the customers arrive at once, so salads and prosciutto are served first, followed by one pizza for each group being baked. I thought that ordering the prosciutto would allow us to enjoy some drinks while waiting for the pizza to be ready. Less
The crust is thin and light, making it very easy to eat, and the flavors are absolutely delicious. Each pizza is about 26 cm, so one person can easily finish one. This time, I had the Marinara, Margherita, and Quattro Formaggi. Each had a strong aroma of tomatoes, garlic, and basil, and they were all crispy and enjoyable.

While waiting for it, I was captivated by the chef's skills, and my expectations were high, but it exceeded them! The crust was perfectly baked, crispy on the outside, and the fresh fruit tomatoes, high-quality olive oil, oregano aroma, and garlic punch blended together beautifully. Not only could I appreciate the excellence of each ingredient, but I also enjoyed the deliciousness of the dough (the flavor of the wheat).Even after finishing one Marinara, I didn’t feel heavy. Our restaurant is quite popular and reservations can be hard to come by. I managed to book a table about a month in advance for Sunday at 8 PM! Yet, the restaurant is fully booked, with many customers making the effort to visit. I believe this is one of the few places that overcomes its location disadvantage purely through the power of its cuisine. The menu is almost exclusively pizza, with only a salad and stone-baked chicken thigh as sides. The simplicity of not overextending the menu is characteristic of this restaurant. You can feel the philosophy of offering a limited selection of dishes at a high level. We ordered the Margherita, summer vegetables with scallops, and a corn pizza. The pizzas, baked in a wood-fired oven, strike a perfect balance between a fragrant crust and a chewy texture, allowing the individuality of each ingredient to shine through. It’s not about flashy presentations; rather, the quality is such that you want to eat more without feeling overwhelmed.Inside the restaurant, a golden retriever greets you warmly. The seating is limited to two hours. Due to its popularity, you can’t linger over your wine for too long, but I think that’s a testament to the fact that there are other customers waiting.Restaurants can thrive based on their location, but this one is different. **It’s not the people that attract customers; it’s the food.** That fact is, I believe, the restaurant's greatest charm. ( •̀ •́ゞ)ビシッ!!● Closed on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays● Lunch: 11:30 AM – 3:00 PM● Dinner: 6:00 PM – 10:00 PMThis unique restaurant only accepts reservations through Tabelog, making it quite popular and difficult to get in without a reservation. (°Д°) If you’re dining solo at the counter, you might find availability about a week in advance, but for groups, it’s best to book well ahead of time. I made a reservation for two at 8 PM on a Monday night, about a month in advance. It seems that many celebrities have visited, as the concrete walls are covered with numerous signatures! ✨ Some have even rated it as the best pizza restaurant in Japan, making it a must-visit for pizza enthusiasts nationwide. It’s amazing that such a place exists in Miyagi, Tohoku! (*’ω’ノノ゙☆パチパチThe restaurant operates on a complete turnover system for both lunch and dinner. Lunch is likely limited to 90 minutes, while dinner is probably 120 minutes. So, with an 8 PM reservation, we were the last group for the night. I drove here and parked right in front of the restaurant since I had a compact rental car due to some repair issues with my own vehicle. (^_^;) I heard there are two additional parking spots nearby, but I’m not sure where. (´-`).。o(ドコダロウカ) However, there’s a paid parking lot next door, so driving here is generally fine. Many patrons were calling taxis, likely due to the high alcohol consumption during the evening service. It was pouring rain that day, too! Due to the turnover system, we couldn’t enter until our reservation time. Outside, the second group was waiting to be seated. At 8 PM, the owner welcomed us in with a cheerful, "Thank you for waiting! Please come in!" (*」´□`)」Upon entering, the interior featured tables in the back that could be rearranged based on the number of guests. There were about four seats at the counter and one table for two at the entrance. The capacity seems to be around 10 to 13 guests per seating. The clientele appeared to be mostly in their 20s to 40s.I placed my order with a young female staff member. (*」´□`)」 While everyone else was having Peroni, my group opted for Asahi Super Dry. Being the designated driver, I chose a non-alcoholic dry beer.We ordered two types of pizza: The classic Margherita for JPY 2,200 (tax included) and the Romana for JPY 2,530 (tax included), along with 230g of roasted red chicken thigh for JPY 2,024.The total came to around JPY 8,000 to 8,500.As for the taste, I’ve never had pizza in Italy, so it’s hard to judge... Honestly, it’s a bit challenging to evaluate. Ҩ(´-ω-`) The dough, imported from Italy, was skillfully crafted right in front of us, which was a delightful experience and truly impressive. The process of stretching the dough and adding toppings took some time due to the careful preparation, but once it went into the large stone oven, it was a race against time! It baked in no time at all! Σ(゚Д゚)スゲェ!!I eagerly tried the Margherita first. (´○`*)パクッ Wow! It was light and delicious!I finished it quickly and awaited the next dish. Next up was the freshly baked Romana. (´○`*)パクッ Oh! This one was juicy and had a flavor I loved! ♡ It was simply delicious! ( ゚д゚)ンマッ!I could have finished that one quickly too, but I held off until the chicken thigh was ready. (ง •̀_•́)ง I wanted to dip it in sauce! (´∀`*)ウフフFinally, the chicken thigh arrived... (´○`*)パクッ Oh wow, this was the best! The balsamic vinegar really enhanced the flavor! So, regarding the pizza: It’s light! I could easily eat two pieces! It was delicious, but it depends on personal preference.I enjoyed the lively atmosphere, and the chicken thigh was flavorful with a good portion size. However, personally, I prefer a chewier crust with a bit more salt, so I couldn’t rate it above 4.0. Maybe it’s just a matter of age? (^_^;)I think I need to study pizza a bit more! It was a great meal! Less

It was amazing!Theo, the golden retriever, was also adorable and brought me joy.It was so delicious that I definitely want to visit again the next time I go to Sendai! Less

I called the restaurant to inform them of my delay. At the entrance, there was a sign saying, "We are fully booked today."The small interior had counter and table seating, and I was guided to an available counter seat. Right in front of me was a wood-fired oven, and I could see the owner, dressed like a Zen monk in a samue, stretching the dough and preparing the pizzas for baking. There was one woman who seemed to be a part-time staff member assisting with service.〈Margherita 2,200 JPY, Lunch Set 660 JPY〉I ordered the Margherita as part of the lunch set, choosing iced coffee as my drink. The drink and salad were served first, and after about 15 minutes, the Margherita arrived. As I was finishing, the staff confirmed the last order. Although the last order was at 14:00, it seemed to be taken shortly after 12:00.While waiting, I was occasionally startled by the barking of the dog, but it seemed the Golden Retriever outside was also in the restaurant. The owner mentioned, "He loves to be petted, so feel free to give him some attention." As I was leaving, the dog was lying near the entrance, and I quietly slipped out without disturbing him. Less

The cozy and welcoming atmosphere instantly put me at ease. Even as a first-time visitor, I felt a comforting vibe that quickly conveyed why the locals love this place. This time, I tried the Marinara. With a composition of just tomatoes, garlic, and oregano, this pizza is straightforward yet leaves no room for error. However, I was astonished by its high level of perfection the moment I took a bite. The dough was particularly impressive. It had a hard crust that provided a delightful aroma while being surprisingly light. Unlike the typical chewy texture of Neapolitan pizza, it had a unique charm with a crispy exterior and a moist interior, showcasing the skillful technique of high-temperature wood-fired baking. The aroma of the dough and the sweetness of the wheat were distinctly present. The tomato sauce had an excellent balance of refreshing acidity and umami. The robust aroma of garlic complemented it perfectly, while the oregano added a refreshing touch that tied everything together. Simple yet profoundly deep, the more I ate, the more I appreciated its high level of craftsmanship. What stood out the most was its lightness. I could eat it effortlessly, and before I knew it, I had finished the whole pizza in no time. It was an ideal creation that provided satisfaction without feeling heavy. The beautiful browning of the crust was also remarkable, with the puffiness and aroma showcasing true artisan skill. You could sense the high level of expertise in determining the perfect state within just a few seconds of baking.I enjoyed a blissful time being soothed by the cute golden retriever and moved by the authentic Neapolitan pizza. I savored a unique pizza that was surprisingly light despite its hard texture. It was a great meal! Less

The total came to JPY 5,390. The coffee and salad were served promptly, and the salad dressing was quite delicious. Around 12:10, the Marina pizza was served. It was flavorful with the taste of tomatoes, the aroma of basil, and a delightful crust. The pizza dough was slightly thin and easy to eat. By 12:30, the Margherita pizza we ordered had not yet been baked, so due to time constraints, we switched to takeout. This place serves delicious pizza, and it might be a great spot for dog lovers. The freshness of the vegetables is evident, and the simple yet skillful presentation showcases the chef's talent right from the first dish.Next, we try the pizza "Summer Vegetables and Scallops with Chichinelli." The thin crust has a delightful char, and the lightness extends to the edges. The balance of moisture in the ingredients is impeccable, with the sweetness of the scallops, the juiciness of the summer vegetables, and the harmony with the cheese being truly remarkable. Honestly, this is among the best pizzas I have ever tasted! Then we have the "Oven-Roasted Red Chicken Thigh." The crispy skin is perfectly cooked, and the juicy flavor combined with the balsamic sauce's acidity and richness is outstanding. The high-temperature cooking in the stone oven really shines here. For dessert, the "Quattro Formaggi" allows you to enjoy the rich personalities of four types of cheese, and a drizzle of honey at the end transforms it into a dessert-like experience. This delightful "taste change" is one of the highlights of this dish. The quality of the food is exceptional, but the warm wooden interior and the calm, serene atmosphere enhance the value of enjoying a delicious meal. I made a reservation a month in advance. This is a pizza place I’ve wanted to visit for a long time.Since I booked it along with a business trip, I tried to make a reservation three times over the course of a month before finally visiting. The welcoming sight of the restaurant's mascot dog was so heartwarming. We started with a white wine carafe paired with prosciutto and mozzarella. After that, we enjoyed dishes like DOC.The light texture was delightful, and the crust was delicious as well.I’m already... I visited the highly acclaimed restaurant "IL PIZZAIOLO" in Kitaseidai for lunch. Due to its immense popularity, I made a reservation a few months in advance. This place offers authentic Neapolitan pizza, baked in a wood-fired oven by a craftsman who ranked 3rd in the World Championship in Naples. There are no pasta dishes on the menu, as they boldly focus on "Pizza Only." There are no pasta dishes on the menu, as they boldly focus on "Pizza Only." My anticipation was already high before tasting, given the pride of the craftsman.Upon entering, I was warmly welcomed by a large golden retriever, the restaurant's mascot, creating an instantly friendly atmosphere. He was very well-behaved and friendly, making it a delightful space for dog lovers. This time, we ordered three pizzas to share among four people:◆ Margherita - JPY 2200 ◆ Marinara - JPY 1870 ◆ Seasonal Vegetables and Salsiccia - JPY 2970 The Marinara and Margherita pizzas are simple yet allow you to fully enjoy the "deliciousness of the dough itself," perfectly baked in the wood-fired oven. The crust is crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside—absolutely exquisite! The quality of this dough is among the best I’ve ever had!The Marinara, in particular, was the most delicious I’ve ever tasted. The strong aroma of garlic and the refreshing flavor of oregano enhance the juicy acidity of the tomato sauce to the maximum, and without cheese, the toasted flavor of the dough, baked at high heat, and the natural sweetness of the wheat shine through. It was truly a masterpiece of craftsmanship. The seasonal vegetable salsiccia pizza was loaded with fresh ingredients like bell peppers, eggplant, and tomatoes. The juicy flavor of the Parma salsiccia paired perfectly with the sweetness of the vegetables, making it incredibly delicious as well.I could have eaten more due to how delicious everything was, but I had a dinner engagement later, so I reluctantly wrapped up my meal here. It was a thoroughly satisfying lunch.Since it’s a popular spot, making a solid reservation in advance is essential. I believe this renowned restaurant will not disappoint pizza lovers. I’m glad I had the opportunity to visit! Less

The crispy crust was so light that I ended up eating too much! I shared it with my friend, and everything was delicious—absolutely amazing. The cheese was rich, and the juiciness of the vegetables exploded in my mouth. The side dish of chicken had a crispy skin, and the meat was juicy, perfectly complemented by a refreshing sauce.

This was my second visit. Miraculously, I was able to make a reservation without any issues and finally got to go! Starting in May, the menu changed, and I ordered the Margherita DOC and the summer vegetable and scallop pizza. Both were absolutely delicious and I finished them in no time! Next time, I want to try the red chicken that was written on the blackboard!
