Dinner on July 10, 2026 (Friday) This is a restaurant in Miyagi Prefecture that I had been wanting to visit, but reservations are difficult to secure. I found it available for booking on Tabelog. There were two spots open on Friday night, so I quickly contacted my drinking buddy and made a reservation. On the day of the visit, I walked up the hill from Kitase Sendai Station in light rain. At the entrance, there was a mascot dog, a retriever. At 20:00, the time of our reservation, we entered together, and of course, the place was fully booked. We were shown to a table in the back. The table felt a bit low compared to the chairs. First, they asked for our drink orders, and I ordered a half bottle of sparkling wine for JPY 3,080. For food, we had: - Green Salad: JPY 880 - Buffalo Mozzarella and Prosciutto: JPY 1,650 - Stone Oven Roasted Chicken Thigh (price varies by weight): JPY 2,552 - Margherita DOC: JPY 3,080 - Summer Vegetables and Scallops with Chichinelli: JPY 2,860 We also finished additional drinks: - White Wine B "Yanmo" Bianco: JPY 3,800 - Red Wine B "Yanmo" Rosso: JPY 3,800 The pizza crust was light and crispy, yet chewy with each bite. The balance of tomato and cheese was perfect. The salad dressing was just right, the prosciutto was excellent, and the skin-crispy, juicy chicken thigh is a must-order item. It was a great meal!!
