IL PIZZAIOLO is a pizza restaurant located in Sendai City, Miyagi Prefecture, recognized as a "BRONZE" and one of the "Top 100 Pizza Restaurants" in Japan. It currently ranks 3rd nationwide among the Top 100 Pizza Restaurants.This was my second visit. I made a reservation on Tabelog about a month and a half ago and visited on the weekend. Although it’s a popular spot, it’s convenient to reserve through Tabelog.When the opening time arrives, the friendly golden retriever, Theos, greets you at the entrance. He is very charming, sociable, and absolutely adorable!The interior is compact, featuring five counter seats and about three tables.The menu includes not only pizzas but also side dishes.This time, I ordered the limited-time "Summer Vegetable and Salsiccia" (JPY 2,970) along with a "Ginger Ale." You can also order additional pizzas after finishing the first one. Payment can be made using electronic money.The pizza is topped with summer vegetables such as cherry tomatoes, eggplant, bell peppers, and paprika, making it visually appealing. The sweetness and freshness of the vegetables are complemented by the savory flavor of the Parma salsiccia, providing a satisfying bite.The crust is well-baked, with a delightful aroma from the char, making it delicious.While the summer vegetables add a lightness, the salsiccia and mozzarella ensure a fulfilling experience.Even though this was my second visit, I found myself wanting to try different pizzas.It was a great meal!
