This pizza place in Kita Sendai has a Golden Retriever. I visited for lunch.Although I tried different types of pizza, I found the flavors here to be more to my liking compared to the top 100 restaurants I visited in Sendai last month. The pizza crust was thin, crispy, and light, which I really enjoyed. While they provide knives and forks, I felt it was more fitting to eat with my hands.I ordered the Margherita DOC and Quattro Formaggi, and I thought the Margherita DOC paired better with the crust.The owner manages everything from taking orders to handling payments all by himself. First, they serve the salad and drink from the lunch set, and while I was eating that, he baked the first pizza. Then, while I was enjoying the first pizza, he baked the second one. The entire meal took about an hour and a half.In terms of ambiance, the pizza place I visited last month was cleaner and more stylish. This restaurant has ordinary tables and dishes, and it felt like the cleanliness could be improved; the air conditioning and hand soap containers looked a bit dirty. The menu is somewhat limited, with only nine types of pizza, which is understandable given that he’s running the place alone.Since there are few seats, it can be hard to make reservations for larger groups, so it’s best to book early.
