The chicken Kiev at Dingles Public House transported me back to the 1970s when I was a very young Cook and prepared this dish for many family dinners. Of course this upscale pub offers much more including excellent sausage rolls, hamburger and fries and mushroom pot pie.
Every dish was spot on at Verjus: tomato salad, pate, omelet, salad, duck confit and dessert. I can’t wait to go back!
I’m beginning a 17 day trip to Northern Europe and soon after I got off the plane, I went to Restaurant Radio in Copenhagen for a dinner that began with tiny potatoes and asparagus and ended with cheesecake ice cream with strawberries. I particularly loved the huge chalkboard with drawings that change monthly.
