Second visit at Ikarus. This time the guest chef was Henrik Yde-Andersen from Sra Bua by Kiin Kiin, whose menu created a short trip to Thailand, which I love. Incredible service as usual, plus very good wine pairing.

Getting a place in this restaurant yesterday due to anti pandemic measures was not easy at all, but luckily we were able to get them. The restaurant was half full as according to the regulations and all personnel was wearing masks.

Getting a place in this restaurant yesterday due to anti pandemic measures was not easy at all, but luckily we were able to get them. The restaurant was half full as according to the regulations and all personnel was wearing masks.
No matter, we were not on the initial St. Valentine menu list, we were able to experience some of the dishes included.
As a whole a very pleasant service, good ingredients. All the dishes were very well styled.

Our dinner started in our SPA apartment with some nice starters and some bottles and then we moved to the regular restaurant. I really appreciated the patience and care of the personnel, in order to make our experience incredible.

Since regular restaurants are closed, the only option to get some tasty food is to arrange a visit to a hotel with a good restaurant inside.

This New Year was quite different since only restaurants in hotels were open and with restrictions. I selected a hotel which is in Vitosha mountain, only 16kms away from Sofia center and located 1800m above sea level. This New Year was quite different since only restaurants in hotels were open and with restrictions. I selected a hotel which is in Vitosha mountain, only 16kms away from Sofia center and located 1800m above sea level. Food was good, well prepared and served, though far way from fine dining and also not pretending for such one. As a whole, I would prefer their regular menu compared to this special one. The ambience of the place was also great since it has some Alpine feeling. Less

Ozone is the newest roof top lounge bar in Sofia, which is located on the 29th floor of the new Grand Hotel Millennium building. It offers a lot of drinks, but also quite some dishes.
In order to get into it, it is good first to book a table in advance, as it is currently quite popular especially on evenings and you go to the bar via a panoramic elevator.... More

In order to get into it, it is good first to book a table in advance, as it is currently quite popular especially on evenings and you go to the bar via a panoramic elevator. You could select either a city or mountain view, plus there is a zone for smokers.
Service is good, though, they are still not fully trained and need some more time to become really good.
Dish list for a lounge bar is good as number of items, but I would expect some better quality for their price level. Less
