About
Chef Vladimir Todorov is among the best young professionals in the country who have gained experience in reputable restaurants and popularity from various competitions. In 2016 he won the "Chef of Bulgaria" award in the biggest culinary competition, organized by the Bulgarian Association of Chefs. This award is preceded by the title "Best Culinary Student", which won in 2015 in a competition organized by the American Culinary Federation in the United States. Specialised education, experience from the Netherlands, Belgium and the United States, as well as significant distinctions, allow chef Todorov to add to his autobiography the role of assistant professor at the HRC Culinary Academy. From May 2018, chef Vladimir Todorov is part of Bistrello's family and, with his unique handwriting, reinforces the concept of the restaurant for an innovative, varied and delicious cuisine that will make you come back to this restaurant.

I have not been in Bistrello since February and for me almost everything in the menu was new. I can see a lot of Asian influence in the dishes, but done in combination with some local dishes, so it gives a good experience.
The dishes themselves were quite big as portions, which made it a little bit tough to be able to try from everything recommended. For example we had no place left for deserts and we wanted to try the pancakes.

We always look for new places and experiences when we have to celebrate our Xmas parties. This year we have selected Bistrello and I'd say they have managed everything perfectly. Chef Vladimir Todorov has helped us in selecting the proper menu style and distribution trough the tables. It appeared they are offering some additional items out of their menu, such as the green cheese, which was incredible.
