🇨🇳 Yu Ting Yuan เป็นอีกหนึ่งร้านที่รู้สึกว่าเลือกเมื่อไหร่ก็ไม่พลาด โดยเฉพาะรอบนี้ที่เค้าออกเมนู Passages of Spring

ซีซั่นนี้จะเน้นวัตถุดิบที่ให้ความรู้สึกสดชื่นแบบฤดูใบไม้ผลิ ทั้งผักอ่อน หน่อไม้ หน่อไม้ฝรั่ง อาหารทะเลสด และสมุนไพรหอมละมุน ที่ช่วยดึงความสดใหม่ของแต่ละจานออกมาได้ดีมาก

เริ่มจากของทานเล่นที่อยากให้สั่งสุดๆคือขนมจีบหมูใส่มะเขือเทศและหน่อไม้ฝรั่ง กับปอเปี๊ยะทอดใบชะพลู ไส้กระเพาะปลาและล็อบสเตอร์ สองจานนี้รสชาติดีแบบไม่ต้องพึ่งน้ำจิ้ม กินเปล่าๆก็เลิศแล้ว

สายซุปแนะนำผักโขมตุ๋นเสิร์ฟกับซุปกุ้งแม่น้ำ เมนูนี้เชฟได้แรงบันดาลใจมาจากโจ๊ก เลยจะมีความนุ่ม ละมุน กินแล้วรู้สึกสบายแต่ยังมีเลเยอร์ของรสชาติ

จานหลักที่ห้ามพลาดคือปลาบู่ทรายนึ่งกับผิวส้มแห้งที่เสิร์ฟมาพร้อมเห็ดหูหนูทอง เนื้อปลาสด เด้ง หวานธรรมชาติ และซอสซีอิ๊วที่ราดมาก็กลมกล่อมกำลังดี เป็นอีกจานที่กินแล้วรู้สึกว่าคิดถูกมากที่สั่ง 😍

มื้อนี้ขอปิดท้ายด้วย Imperial fried rice ข้าวผัดซิกเนเจอร์ของร้านที่ผัดมาแบบเม็ดเรียงสวย หอมกำลังดี เป็นจานจบที่เพลินมาก อ่ออและถ้าใครเป็นสายผัก แนะนำให้สั่งทั้งป่วยเล้งและผักคะน้าเลย ดีงามทั้งคู่

ใครชอบอาหารจีนหรือกำลังหาร้านสำหรับมื้อพิเศษ เมนูซีซั่นนี้ของ Yu Ting Yuan ควรค่าแก่การไปลองมากๆ

The Light Bar & Dining is a multi-storey restaurant and bar located in a restored 1893 Victorian power station in Shoreditch. The food is really good, very simple but executed well. We started off with some padron peppers and a chicken skewer with house pickles, both were nice. For mains we had a feast, whole spatchcock poussin, a pretty good burger, Harissa-glazed celeriac, whipped ricotta, quince, chicory. But the star of the night was the Aurox beef steak, girolles, bordelaise sauce. And loads of side, classic caesar salad, Charred hispi cabbage, mustard & preserved lemon dressing. Grilled cos lettuce, chimichurri, pickled chilli. Unfortunately we didn't get desserts because the chef had gone home at 9.05pm but we were pretty full any way. The food was good, not the best in london but still worth a look, Especially if your in a group, more of a lively night out then a fine dinning experience. But we had a good night.

Another fab fish & chips find, this one at @porgysnola - a Friday only special during Lent (maybe, hopefully longer?) this time with flounder, mushy peas and curry sauce.

The market/deli is a playground for seafood lovers.

Thai style ceviche, a cast-iron-dark seafood gumbo loaded with enormous shrimp and nice oysters (potato salad optional) and the crawfish roll another special today.

Go talk smack with the “lady mongers” (and the gent mongers too).
