This shop opened to much fanfare in 2016, and has been drawing sizable lines ever since. The specialty is a Kishu kamo shoyu ramen, which features a dashi soup that contains special brand ducks sourced from Kishu, Wakayama Prefecture. Perfectly balanced with succulent duck and pork chashu toppings. The twice marinated and grilled negi topping add-on is also highly recommended. A new-school standout and highly esteemed shop. Less

Debía una visita desde hace mucho tiempo a El Merendero de Antonio Martín, clasico entre los clásicos de la ciudad deMálaga. Uno de esos lugares que forma parte del imaginario colectivo de la ciudad y de nuestros recuerdos, que Gonzalo Ramírez - empresario, gastrónomo avanzado y hermanísimo de Don Ramón - ha cuidado y mantenido en pie contra viento y marea. El restaurante, bien atendido, con maneras clásicas, se beneficia de una ubicación privilegiada y ofrece una carta amplísima que abarca desde clásicos de la cocina tradicional local hasta platos de una moderada modernidad - que en ocasiones caen en un cierto barroquismo ya superado - pero que están bien ejecutados y, en general, resultan agradables. Rodrigo García, cocinero leonés, hace en ese sentido un buen trabajo sosteniendo ese recetario clásico, reconocible y entrañable.
