Chicken and pork shoyu soup uses traditional Chinese spices and seasonings. Thin straight low hydration noodles are housemade. Topped with pork chashu and negi. Yodare chicken, shumai, spicy ebi wontons on the side.

PRU เป็น Fine Dining ร้านเดียวในภูเก็ตที่ได้รับ 1 ดาวมิชลินต่อเนื่องถึง 8 ปีซ้อน พร้อม Michelin Green Star จากแนวคิดด้านความยั่งยืน ชื่อร้านย่อมาจาก Plant • Raise • Understand สะท้อนแนวคิดการทำงานร่วมกับเกษตรกรและฟาร์มของตัวเองอย่าง Pru Jampa เพื่อดึงศักยภาพของวัตถุดิบไทยออกมาให้ได้มากที่สุด เพราะแทบทุกอย่างในคอร์สนี้ล้วนมาจากประเทศไทย

สิ่งที่เซอร์ไพรส์ที่สุดของมื้อนี้ คือเชฟเลือกเปิดคอร์สด้วย The King of Fruits อย่าง “ทุเรียน” ตอนแรกก็แอบงง เพราะปกติจะนึกถึงของหวาน แต่เชฟกลับจับคู่กับคาเวียร์และสาหร่ายพวงองุ่น ความเค็มของคาเวียร์ตัดกับความหวานมันของทุเรียนได้อย่างลงตัว เชฟบอกว่าอยากเริ่มมื้อด้วยรสชาติที่ Bold และอยากให้คนที่ไม่ชอบทุเรียน “เปิดใจ” ซึ่งหลังจากได้ลองก็เข้าใจเลยว่าทำไมจานนี้ถึงเป็น Signature ของร้าน

จริงๆ มื้อนี้ชอบแทบทุกจาน แต่ถ้าต้องเลือก ขอเทใจให้ Abalone – Frog Legs เป๋าฮื้อ ขากบ มังคุด เห็ดหูหนู ซอส Fish Chorizo และว่านสาวหลง ทุกอย่างเข้ากันอย่างไม่น่าเชื่อ เสิร์ฟคู่กับบริยอชไว้ปาดซอส…บอกเลยว่าห้ามพลาด!

อีกจานที่ประทับใจมากคือ Duck เป็ดดรายเอจ 6–7 วัน เสิร์ฟคู่ข้าวยำและ Duck Consommé หนังกรอบ เนื้อฉ่ำ สุกกำลังดี ที่สำคัญคือ เติมได้! 😳 ไม่เคยเจอ Fine Dining ที่ไหนให้เติม Main Course มาก่อน แต่ที่นี่ทำ เพราะเชฟอยากให้ทุกคนอิ่มและกลับบ้านอย่างมีความสุข

ของหวานก็สนุกไม่แพ้กัน ทั้งขนุนกับไข่มดแดง🐜 และเค้กกล้วยหอมเสิร์ฟคู่ไอศกรีมใบโปร่งฟ้า ซึ่งเป็นรสชาติที่ไม่เคยเจอจากที่ไหนมาก่อน ส่วน Non-Alcohol Pairing ก็ทำได้ดีมาก ช่วยส่งรสชาติอาหารในแต่ละจานได้อย่างลงตัว

เป็นอีกหนึ่งมื้อที่ประทับใจตั้งแต่คำแรกจนคำสุดท้าย ถ้าใครมีแพลนมาเที่ยวภูเก็ต แนะนำให้หาโอกาสมาลอง แล้วจะเข้าใจว่าทำไม PRU ถึงยังคงเป็นร้านมิชลินสตาร์แห่งเดียวของภูเก็ต และรักษาดาวมาได้ต่อเนื่องถึง 8 ปี ❤️

En un panorama en el que cada vez es más difícil trazar la línea entre la cocina tradicional, la creativa, la de producto o el adjetivo que prefiramos elegir, Diego del Río se mantiene firme en una culinaria original y personal pero de fundamentos clásicos sólidos. Sin excesivos riesgos, ni experimentos innecesarios que incomoden a una clientela que sólo busca comer bien, sin mayores sobresaltos. Muy pocos cocineros se manejan tan bien en este terreno y ofrecen una cocina tan sólida y satisfactoria como él.

Although it’s in the basement, the high ceilings create a spacious and open feel. There is a dress code, so everyone was dressed elegantly, contributing to a sophisticated atmosphere.【Order】Menu Déjeuner: JPY 12,000【Presentation & Taste】The appetizers included crackers, soup, and pâté, which were plentiful and raised my expectations. The shiitake mushroom wrapped in pastry was surprisingly thick, with a texture reminiscent of steak, making it very satisfying. I think this is one of the best new restaurant openings in NYC this year.

@somssi_nyc is the first restaurant from my dear friend Ahris, alongside JP and Ellia Park, and it’s a beautiful reflection of everything they’ve built their careers around. After years creating unforgettable dining experiences, they’ve opened a restaurant that feels deeply personal. The cooking draws inspiration from many places, but never feels tied to any one tradition. Everything is thoughtful, beautifully executed, and most importantly, delicious.

What makes me happiest, though, is seeing Ahris realize a dream that’s been years in the making. If you’ve ever had the pleasure of being welcomed by her, you already know the warmth and hospitality she brings to every room. Now she’s created a place that feels just like that.

Congratulations, Ahris, JP, and Ellia. I couldn’t be happier for you all.
