🇹🇭 ดีใจมากตอนรู้ว่า Tanya’s ร้านอาหารไทยที่ชอบที่สุดในหัวหิน จะมาทำคอลแลบกับ สกด ร้านอาหารไทยโฮมคุกที่ชอบมากในกรุงเทพ เพราะส่วนตัวชอบสไตล์การทำอาหารของทั้งสองร้านอยู่แล้ว

สิ่งที่ชอบเหมือนกันคือ รสชาติกลมกล่อม กินสบาย ไม่ปรุงหนักจนกลบรสวัตถุดิบ หลายๆร้านกินเสร็จกลับบ้านหิวน้ำมาก แต่สองร้านนี้ไม่เคยเป็นแบบนั้น

มื้อนี้ประทับใจตั้งแต่ต้นจนจบ รู้สึกว่าเชฟต่ายกับเชฟแตงกวาเคมีเข้ากันมาก เมนูถูกเรียงมาได้บาลานซ์มาก มีทั้งจานเบาๆ อย่าง ไข่ตุ๋นน้ำมะพร้าวปูก้อน และ ปลาเก๋าต้มเผือกมะพร้าวเผา สลับกับจานรสจัดอย่าง ยำกะลากรุบกุ้งสด และ พะแนงเนื้อ ทำให้กินได้เรื่อยๆแบบไม่รู้สึกหนักหรือเลี่ยนเลย ก่อนจะปิดท้ายด้วยของหวานอย่างไอศครีมไข่แข็งและขนมต้มมะพร้าว มื้อนี้ออกมาลงตัวจนเพื่อนที่ไปด้วยชมกันทุกคน

ใครมีโอกาสไปหัวหิน แนะนำให้ลอง Tanya’s สักครั้ง ส่วนใครอยู่กรุงเทพและกำลังหาร้านอาหารไทยโฮมคุกดีๆ สกด ก็เป็นอีกร้านที่อยากแนะนำมาก

Primera toma de contacto con el Kena by Akiro, del gran Luis Arévalo, en el Hotel El Fuerte (Marbella). Una propuesta informal y atractiva en la espectacular terraza del hotel - con las mejores vistas de la ciudad - que da un giro radical a anteriores intentos de relanzar su oferta gastronómica. Platillos de inspiración nikkei y piezas de sushi en modo fusión que resultan convincentes o, cuando menos agradables, y algún plato infalible de Arévalo, salpicados de cócteles y buen ambiente. Una alegría encontrar también a Héctor Escalona al frente de las operaciones. La terraza es un lujo pero el servicio deberá curtirse y conocer mejor la oferta y el ambiente agradecería cierta moderación con la música. Good Meal at YGF Malatang
On my quest to finally try the renowned jajangmyeon at @jbistro_ga, nestled near the Doraville/Chamblee border, I encountered an unexpected hiccup—they're closed on Wednesdays! This twist of fate led me to explore @ygfmalatangatlanta one of the many intriguing dining options within the H Mart shopping center. They have locations worldwide, many in Asia, another in Duluth.

A Unique Malatang Experience
While I may not be an expert on the historical origins of dishes, I can certainly discern what's tasty. YGF Malatang offers a distinctly different experience compared to the malatang I've enjoyed at Hunan Garden. Here, you can craft your meal by selecting from a variety of proteins, vegetables, and noodles at their food bar. You then choose your broth and are charged by the pound. From lobster balls and mussels to spam, the range of protein options is impressive. I indulged in almost every protein available.

One thing I’d do differently next time is limit myself to one type of noodle. I tried 3-4 different noodles, with udon being a personal favorite. On the recommendation of the friendly staff, I opted for the beef bone broth, which I would definitely order again. While it doesn’t quite earn an “I’d rush back” status, it certainly receives my seal of approval.

I visited for lunch. I heard they have 8 rotations, and it seemed relatively easy to get a reservation in the afternoon, but securing a spot for the 12 PM slot was a bit challenging.The course was reasonably priced, prepared by younger chefs who were very confident in their skills, and it was a delightful experience overall. Every piece of sushi was delicious, and they paired perfectly with the drinks.After the meal, I was taken to the second floor, where I enjoyed rooibos tea and dessert in a Western-style setting. The fourth-generation owner came to greet us, and I had the chance to chat with him briefly.It was a wonderful dining experience, and I will definitely visit again! Less
