This was an invitational tasting for media people. While the dishes showcased were somewhat tasty, it was nevertheless a disappointing experience as one wonders whether the chef presented dishes with premium ingredients simply to "wow" people - without delivering real flavors.

Dinner with the menu arranged by the owner. Delicious deep-fried croakers, signature steamed flower crab, and lots of other delicious dishes.

Uni, namanori seaweed and shiromiso paste with superiore Chinese broth jelly (海胆 生海苔と白みそのピュレ 上湯の煮凝り)
delicious lunch here with a chef friend, with a complimentary dish from chef Shane Osborn. The tortellini and lamb shoulder sausage were standout dishes.

Always pretty reliable food here. Service was surprisingly good this day, considering we were not regulars.

Disappointed with both the service (which normally isn't great unless you are VIP) as well as some of the dishes. It seems the standards may be sliding. Good thing I'm spending more of my money at Seventh Son.
