March 3, 2025 Our 3rd visit to one of Nagoya’s two - Michelin 3 ⭐️ restaurants, Hijikata Kaiseki. The rice with uni and tomato was one of the best dishes of our trip. Thanks again to Chef and his wife for their hospitality and providing the much appreciated translation tool throughout dinner.

Im on the hunt for the world’s best schnitzel… and I think I just found it 🥳

@bogenhauserhof might sound like a relic from the 1940s, but their truffle schnitzel is pure 21st-century indulgence. Perfectly crispy, souffléd, and golden brown, topped with truffle, lingonberries, and an umami-packed mushroom reduction, this thing is an absolute flavor bomb.

At €39, it’s not cheap, but trust me: worth every cent. My brother and father literally declared it the best schnitzel they’ve ever had. And honestly? I might have to agree and give it 9.5/10.

The regular schnitzel? A boring affair after that truffle explosion. But shoutout to the potato game, solid, but let’s be real, just the supporting act.

ล่าสุดมีโอกาสได้ไปลองมาอีกร้านแล้วรู้สึกประทับใจมาก จริงๆที่นี่เค้าเป็นร้านโอมากาเสะแบบพรีเมี่ยม ซึ่งเค้าใช้วัตถุดิบเกรดเดียวกันในคอร์ส Handroll ด้วย บอกเลยว่าสดจริง แล้วรสชาติของทุกคำส่วนตัวคือชอบหมดเลย ไหนๆไปแล้วแนะนำให้สั่ง Signature Roll เพิ่มด้วยโดยเฉพาะ Sei Roll นี่คือที่สุด เป็นคำที่ใหญ่อลังการมาก มาครบทั้งทูน่าสับ กุ้งหวาน อูนิ และคาเวียร์ ตอนนั้นเอาจริงคืออิ่มมากจนต้องบอกเชฟว่าขอไม่ใส่ข้าวละนะ แต่คำนี้คือชอบมากจริงๆไม่ควรพลาด 😍😍😍

This shop specializes in Niigata Tsubame-Sanjo style inspired ramen. Clear niboshi-chicken soup and pork backfat are topped with chashu, diced onions and special iwanori from Hyōgo Prefecture. One of Munich’s best sandwiches is hiding in plain sight🤗

Tucked inside Viktualienmarkt, @marinasfeinkost is a tiny Italian deli packed with top-quality cheeses, cured meats, and most importantly, some of the best sandwiches or paninis in the city 🧀🥩🥪

The setup is simple: pick from freshly sliced bresaola, mortadella, prosciutto, and more, then choose your bread—a mini baguette from @juliusbrantner or, if you know what’s up, a warm, cheesy focaccia.

My go-to? The Trüffelsau with truffle pesto, artichokes, porchetta, and arugula. Or the cheesy roast beef, loaded with mozzarella, red pesto, and perfectly pink roast beef.

Sometimes, good food doesn’t need to be complicated, just fresh ingredients that shine. And for 12 euros, you really can’t go wrong.
