Recommended bowl: 100% chicken

Opened in 2015 by master Ichikawa-san, who trained at the shops Menya Sou in Tokyo and Abe's in Shizuoka. There are multiple bowls on the menu here, with the most popular being niboshi ramen and the recommended being shoyu ramen. The soup base is a clear 100% chicken broth, with noodles ordered from Mikawaya Seimen. No MSG. Less

'Pad Kra Prow' chilli and basil stir fry
A spicy & fragrant classic with Thai holy basil, fresh chillies, and green beans in our stir-fry sauce. Served just like in Thailand with jasmine rice, a crispy fried egg and prik nam pla dip on the side.

Lunch at @brothermarcus_ Borough Market

Brother Marcus was created by three best friends, Arthur, Alex, and Tas. They bring the flavours and recipes of the Eastern Mediterranean to London. Having travelled the region extensively and experienced the food, drink, and culture it has to offer first hand, what you get at Brother Marcus is our take on the Eastern Mediterranean way.
The restaurant itself is stunning, and I love the decor. It's so busy, the atmosphere is great, and the service is excellent. We were invited to try their Marcus choice menu, great value at £42pp. The chef picks what you have. This is what we had.....

All the food was excellent, really tasty and fresh flavours. My favourite dishes were the panfried halloumi and the greek feta sausage. But everything was packed with flavour. I'd definitely recommend you check it out!! There's a restaurant in Borough Market, Angel, Spitalfields, South Kensington, and Covent Garden. And i here there is one more on its way, so very exciting times.
