Consistently one of my favourite yakitori shops, despite being a bit of a hike to get to Osaka. Chouchin here is probably the highlight here, showcasing how a technically 'subpar' ingredient can be made to taste so good. Skewers tend to feature a variety of chicken breeds, but the precision is high here, so each piece hits the highs. Max boom.

One of the best Caesar salads I’ve had 🥗

A full Caesar stacked over a huge crispy chicken cutlet, balanced, flavorful, and genuinely memorable.

Carina Sorella in Bryn Mawr serves Italian favorites all day including pizza, pasta, salads, and classic comfort dishes in a beautiful, relaxed space on the Main Line. The Caesar stood out, but the pizza and pasta were both strong and well executed. They are also open for brunch, making this a great option for weekend brunch, lunch, or dinner in Bryn Mawr.

It’s the sister restaurant to the iconic Trattoria Carina in Philadelphia, which is known for its cozy neighborhood Italian cooking and pastas. Carina Sorella is a great spot for Italian food on the Main Line, date night, casual dinner, pasta, pizza, Caesar salad, brunch, and neighborhood dining in the Philadelphia suburbs.
