けどやっぱりここの右ストレートにぞっこん⁣
葫の効いたガツンと醤油が恋しくて堪らん案件

This might be Copenhagen’s next Michelin starred restaurant 🇩🇰⭐️

In Nordhavn, at @akme.cph an intimate 8-seat counter sets the stage for a Japanese-French tasting menu prepared entirely à la minute. It’s the place @dualipa or the cool crowd will love.

Taking over the former home of Sushi Anaba, the young team led by @emilhasssan and @valdemarjunge blends kaiseki sensibility with classical French technique.

Think Norwegian snow crab with the first white asparagus, jambon persillé with eel, and pigeon.

It’s not flawless yet, but it has identity, ambition and serious potential.

Akmē is one to watch.

🇯🇵 Sushi Zo ร้านโอมากาเสะพรีเมี่ยมจาก LA ที่หลายคนคุ้นชื่อกันดี ตอนนี้เค้ามีคอร์ส Hand Rolls แล้วนะ ฟังคำชมมาซักพักละว่าดีมากกก จนต้องมาลองด้วยตัวเอง และบอกเลยว่า…ไม่เกินจริงเลยสักนิด

ส่วนตัวขอยกให้คอร์สแฮนด์โรลของ Sushi Zo ขึ้นแท่นเป็นคอร์สที่ชอบที่สุดในตอนนี้ สาหร่ายกรอบกำลังดี ไส้แน่นทุกคำ รสชาติถูกใจ ทำถึงตั้งแต่คำแรกจนคำสุดท้าย

ใครลังเล แนะนำให้จัดแบบ 7 rolls ไปเลย
อิ่มกำลังดีและจะได้ลองครบแบบไม่ค้างคาใจ

นอกจากอาหารที่ชอบแล้ว ยังแอบหลงรักความตะมุตะมิของอุปกรณ์บนโต๊ะด้วย รายละเอียดเล็กๆ น้อยๆ แต่ทำให้มื้อนี้น่ารักขึ้นไปอีก 🐱🐥

Another day, another beautiful chuletón @charrua_madrid 🥩🔥

I’ve been to a lot of great restaurants over the years, but very few come close to Charrúa when it comes to the vibe and ambience. The space is split into two super cool, dimly lit dining rooms, each centred around an open fire grill. Tables are either perched on raised mezzanines or set on the ground level, giving it real depth and theatre. It’s a stunning set up!

As for the food, it’s all about wood fire. Seafood, meat and vegetables cooked over embers. We ordered a good mix - the Charrúa Selection Chuletón Vaca Gallega, melted provolone, cecina, turbot + lots of sides and starters.

Everything was good, but nothing quite blew me away - especially having hit some similar spots across the week.

The chuletón here had great flavour but was slightly chewy and tough. The turbot was a touch over but loved the garlic and smoke running through it. Starters and sides were strong across the board.

For wine, a young, velvety bottle of @bodegasvegasicilia Valbuena 2020, a beauty!

I’d absolutely go back - love the place and the energy. It may just have been one of those nights where the mains missed the mark slightly. Still a killer spot. Definitely recommend. Less

Lunch at @barang_london

This is the first time I've tried Cambodian food, chef @tomgeoffrey is bringing big Cambodian flavours, open-fire cooking, and pure fun to the heart of the city. Expect vibrant dishes, seasonal produce, and serious energy at the table.
Tye food is fantastic, the service was excellent and great wines. This is what we ordered.....
