そこに輝かしい白米と優しいお味噌汁が付属
エビフライは長太く衣薄めの理想的な大きさ
手作りのタルタルとプリっとした身の相性は抜群
肉は焼肉という名のほぼステーキの様な厚み
歯切れ良く脂が乗りに乗った最高の3切れ
小さめだけどクリームが濃厚なコロッケも嬉しい
そして絶対日本米、ここの米がめちゃくちゃ旨い！
量もちょうど良い品のある大人様ランチプレート
いつも頼んでたミックスセットがなくなり残念
少しお値段上がるも美味さ引き替え何のその
お昼は安定の満席久々に来るも変わらない味

Recommended bowl: Japanese shio

Hidamari serves a simple yet high-level Japanese-style shio ramen. Master Kenichirou Murayama trained at Menya Sou in Nakameguro before opening his own shop. The soup contains chicken, as well as katsuo from Kagoshima and kelp from Hokkaido. Four different varieties of salt go into the shio-tare. Mikawaya Seimen noodles and flame-torched ‘aburi-chashu’ pork topping. No large size but you can get kaedama noodle refills, a bit rare for this style of ramen. Less

We drove out to Lake Mary to end our week with a nice white cloth dinner and it was solid.

A little bit more salt on my flown in Black Gulf Grouper and it would have been perfect.

It’s a very special place for the food and the people behind it.

Came for the bark, stayed for the smoke, left with the reminder that @hotelstvincent would be a fantasy staycation destination in the New Orleans summer. Pool envíe particularly strong on this scorcher.

The hotel is part of Austin-based , @mmlhospitality and this summer they’re bringing in Texas barbecue for pop-ups in partnership with @getgraza , benefiting the great work of @southernsmokefoundation for the hospitality industry.

This time it was @reesebrosbbq of San Antonio.

Word is the next edition Aug. 23 could include a visit from chef @aprilbloomfield, newly now with MML.

Dinner at ⭐️ and Thailand’s first but now thankfully not only Michelin green star restaurant 🍀 Pru in Phuket, now stunningly relocated from the beautiful Trisara resort to an incredible perch overlooking the Andaman Sea but still within a stones throw of the resort.
I was truly blown away by the new dining room and counter where I was able to enjoy the first snacks whilst watching the sun slowly set behind the bustling open kitchen. The food that executive chef and co-owner Jimmy Ophorst together with head chef Flo and the team produce very much lives up to the setting. A tasting menu of innovative creations embraced the best and sometimes least utilised ingredients from across Thailand, sometimes ingredients that even the locals may not be familiar with. It’s always great to dine in a restaurant that is pushing in that direction and not afraid to take risks.
Highly recommended, and again if you are on a lesser budget as I was there are plenty of comfortable accommodation options just 5 minutes down the hill at Natai beach. However, if you can then I can also highly recommend the Trisara resort itself.
