Really very excited to say that I have another restaurant review in this weekend’s @theobserveruk and up online now. It is of the hugely impressive Solina Pasta in Bath – a city that I briefly called home and one that, as readers of PICKY will know, still has my heart in all sorts of acute, complicated ways. @alexandersskokie is a hidden gem in the heart of skokie, it’s one of the best brunch and breakfast places in Chicagoland with a huge variety to choose from.
They have weekly specials and have some amazing flavor combos on the menu.

I would highly recommend ordering-

Shakshouka toast

I finally got to visit the most viral and largest yemeni coffee shop in Ilinois @shibamcoffee_gh. This shop is Huge with luxe interiors, pretty furniture, conference room, private room and a namaz room.

They just added a few mouthwatering new menu items-

Som entusiast av eksotiske kjøkken har jeg besøkt mange fine dining-restauranter med fokus på ulike kulturer. Dessverre har opplevelsene alltid vært skuffende – manglende innovasjon, små porsjoner og en tendens til å redusere krydderbruken i stedet for å fremme de opprinnelige smakene.

Denne gangen var det helt annerledes! Dette er en restaurant som skiller seg ut med masse kreativitet og originalitet. Det føltes som en skikkelig hyllest til filippinsk kultur, der norske råvarer ble brukt på en smart måte med fokus og respekt for filippinske tradisjoner👌🏽
