Best thing I ate in Philly this trip … These tacos, and the one particularly on the right. The slow-cooked lamb stomach pancita from @southphillybarbacoa_ , which is set up at the front of a restaurant called Casa Mexico.

For all the hype this place gets, I guess I was expecting something boojier. But the room felt like a neighborhood spot through and through, except for the people hacking up the barbacoa meat in an agave leaf. The pancita was super spicy with chiles and even more flavorful than the lamb barbacoa. I haven’t had Mexican food this good in awhile. It was one of the most memorable tacos I’ve had in the past several years.

Thank you to Cristina Martínez for being there, being present and keeping it very real. The experience was a spiritual one …

The Cape Schanck restaurant has been years in the making and finally we get to see what @simonewatts_chef and the team have been cooking.

The farm to fork regenerative restaurant is truly one of the best value degustations out there at the minute. At $155 a head, it's cheap as chips compared to the likes of Brae, Tedesca and Moonah. Sure, they offer different experiences, but share the same DNA of championing the best of the land they live on.

Affordable doesn't mean less of an experience. Barragunda is rich with storytelling and delicious things- from the snacks (those sesame croissants!) bread and butter (my word) main events (we must talk about that chicken) and the mind-blowing dessert made from scraps (meringue has never looked better) and the wine.

Worth a visit if you're on the Ninch!

Run by @constantinechristopoulos and the European Group, this place isn't your typical 'parma and pokies' type pub.
🐔
It's more a mix between @frenchsaloon and @kirkswinebar on food, with plenty craft beers on tap and a library of wine next door to buy and drink on site ($25 corkage). 🍷

The fish and chips here are reimagined as potato cakes swiped in salted cod puree, the pie squirms with snails and there's a breakfast burger at dinner time. 🍔 There's never a dull moment here.

No one in Texas is doing it like this‼️
Smoked straight on a mix of charcoal that brings that Smokey flavor to it, it’s one of the most flavorful shawarmas I have had. That tender wrap surprised me as well 🤤

Will definitely be coming back here 🔥

SUSHI ON SUSHI 🍣 🍱

This place got multiple locations around Houston and we went to the Porter one.
They have ramen but we got sushi and some noodles. Super fresh but need to try the ramen next time.
