This has got to be their best one yet. A beautiful dining room across the ground floor, with a few tables outside and a cosy PDR + open kitchen downstairs.

The menu here feels bigger and well rounded with lots of lunch time specials + plenty of new dishes nestled in between the classics.

The silkiest black chickpea hummus, chicken Olivieh, and the non-negotiable chicken wings all still deliver. The Olivieh is still my favourite starter with all those pickles. From the newer dishes, the tahdig with a rich, slow-cooked ox cheek curry was killer. Super crispy and moreish with the most tender, well seasoned meat. Chicken dumplings with saffron were excellent too, as were the lamb sambusek.

The grills are always solid too, but the new double lamb chops stole it this time. Huge, well-charred and nicely pink inside. Similar to those at Gymkhana, but completely different flavour profile with the charred Iranian spices.

Chocolate sorbet to finish was ridiculous. Intense, smooth, and properly dairy-free. Sadly I think this was a rotating special - but hopefully they make it a permanent fixture.

El argentino Emiliano Schobert no oculta sus raíces a lo largo de su menú “Esencia” - con guiños a su tierra de origen y alguno que otro a la que le acoge - pero muestra un indudable gusto por los esquemas franceses de la alta cocina: depurada técnica y preciosismo en las presentaciones - muy cuidadas, quizás algo teatrales - tras propuestas bien concebidas que relegan a un segundo plano la excelencia de un producto que, sin ser sobresaliente, es correcto. Platos agradables y bien resueltos en los que prima el equilibrio y una cuidada estética que en algunos pases da la impresión que sacrifica el resto de los elementos y posibles matices. No sorprende que a los inspectores de Michelin les seduzca la oferta. Servicio cuidado y ritmo impecable a mediodía. Merece especial mención Giacommo, al frente de la sala y la bodega.

El espacio, en la cuarta planta del Museo de Málaga, en el Palacio de Aduanas, está muy cuidada: confortable, con espacio suficiente entre mesas - que piden un mantel a gritos - y una cocina vista - de las dos que tienen - que no interrumpe el disfrute del comensal. A Flavorful Start
My adventure began with the hummus. Though I typically prefer the silkier Lebanese, Israeli, and Palestinian variations, the thicker, rustic version here was surprisingly enjoyable. Paired with house-made pita chips, it offered a distinct texture and flavor that some may prefer as a hearty side. What’s your favorite style of hummus?

Savor the Lamb Shish Kebab
The lamb shish kebab was a highlight of the meal. It was tender and seasoned just enough to enhance, not overshadow, the high-quality meat.

Insightful Service
Server, Annette, was personable and enthusiastic, sharing insights about the owner’s background. With several restaurants on military bases under his belt, his worldly culinary experiences have clearly influenced the menu.

Menu Updates
While exploring the menu, note that Crave Kitchen & Bistro’s offerings are evolving. Although pizza is still listed online, it's no longer available. Instead, look forward to fresh salmon and shrimp dishes coming soon. Pasta lovers hopefully will enjoy their house-made pesto, Italian, and Alfredo sauces. I plan on trying.

A Promising Experience

More evidence that you should not be ordering tacos at most Mexican places in New York. Because there are other more delicious things on the menu, like cemitas! The sandwich of Puebla, stacked so beautifully here, is spicy, sweet, buttery, savory, creamy, cheesy! Oh my gosh it’s fantastic.
