Sushi Meino, April 2026. Maybe some of the most beautiful, symmetrical sushi I know of. Exquisite balance. Always want to come back here. This season's tamago is sakura flavor because this was the first week of 🌸 in Tokyo.

Higashiazabu Amamoto, April 2026. As Duke Nukem would say: hail to the king, baby.
The product at Amamoto is always exceptional, but it was somehow even at a higher level on this particular visit. No misses, only bangers. Super fresh shirako, kujira bacon (usually an izakaya snack) and akami, shirako risotto. And of course, maybe the world's best katsuo warayaki.
