I visited this place for the first time in over 15 years, now that I've developed a love for tempura. Reservations can be made about a month in advance over the phone. The counter has a total of 20 seats, divided between Chef Kondo's group and his top apprentice, and it seems relatively easy to get a reservation since they can accommodate two seatings for both lunch and dinner.I opted for the lightest course and added carrots and corn. Every piece of tempura was delicious and served at a good pace. The only downside is that they don’t offer sparkling or white wine, and bringing your own is not allowed. While sushi pairs well with Japanese sake, tempura really goes well with white wine or sparkling wine. Less
