London 🇬🇧 Memories from @littleduckthepicklery known - as it’s name suggests - for the focus on pickled ingredients, combined with delicious, fresh produce through their weekly changing menu.

The small restaurant in Dalston has a beautiful countertop around the chef’s prep counter as well as outside seating for those warmer summer days.

A few highlights included:
- Ravioli with ricotta, artichoke and sages butter
- Mussels in an amazing wine-based broth and coriander
- Lemon sole, cockles and white asparagus
- Sourdough and whipped butter

London 🇬🇧 Back at the @mo_hydepark for @dinnerbyhb’s ‘Luncheon’ menu - spotlighting food waste through a creative menu with aged old recipes dates all the way back to the 17th century!

The team craftfully used less-used
ingredients to develop a special weekday and Sunday ‘Luncheon’ set menu at the iconic restaurant.

Everything we tried was amazing, including:
- Smoked Salmon Belly with Dill, yoghurt & sourdough
- Salt Cod with Parsnip, pickled lemon & horseradish
- Artichoke with Mushroom, spelt & cauliflower
- ‘Poore Knights’ with Brioche, blood orange & Earl Grey ice cream

If you’re after a ‘summer in the Med’ vibe, @in.horto in Southwark has you covered with their communal wood fired, garden set up serving up delicious locally sourced dishes with a southern European flare.

They proudly work with favourite local producers like gingerpig, and @nealsyarddairy, to dish up deliciously fresh plates like:
- Skillet cornbread with ndujia and burnt onion butters 🍞
- Devonshire crab, charred baby gem and with brown crab mayonnaise 🦀
- Whole sea bream 🎣
- Roasted aubergine 🍆, tomato ragu, burrata and Parmesan 🧀

Plus a perfect spot for drinks with their range of amazing cocktails like the Garden heat (Don julio blanco, lime, spicy agave, cucumber) and Mango sour (Roe & co, mango, lemon).

London🇬🇧 The incredible Hot Stone group has a brand new outpost at @rai.restaurant - a beautiful new restaurant in Fitzrovia that serves up @chefpadam_raj_rai delicious Japanese fusion cuisine. We absolutely loved our tasting menu here, incredibly well priced at £75 for the 10/10 quality of ingredients and cooking. Some of the highlights included :
- Sashimi selection with 5 year aged soy sauce and fresh wasabi
- A5 Wagyu with a peppercorn chimichurri
- Sea bass 2 ways with yuzu beurre blanc
- Hand picked oyster with tosazu sauce
- Incredible fatty tuna nigiri with caviar
- Obi tempura with tuna tartare
Can’t recommend this highly enough, some of the best value Japanese fine dining in town!

London🇬🇧 As a part of their new “Clay Pot Series”, Gunpowder Soho & Chef Nikos Roussos from the lovely Opso restaurant have collaborated to explore the history of clay pot cooking across Indian & Greek cuisines. We were lucky to try some of this last week and enjoyed the delicious dishes from the clay pot series as well as Gunpowder’s regular menu :
- Lamb shank with fresh black truffles served alongside Greek Trahanas pasta and mushrooms
- Dakshini duck with mustard pickled carrots
- Hay smoked jungli poussin in an indian earthenware pot
- Gunpowder chaat
- Tandoori chicken chop
- Moong dal payasam tart with coconut and butternut tuile for a sweet finish!
Always a delightful dinner at Gunpowder! .
