London🇬🇧 As a part of their new “Clay Pot Series”, Gunpowder Soho & Chef Nikos Roussos from the lovely Opso restaurant have collaborated to explore the history of clay pot cooking across Indian & Greek cuisines. We were lucky to try some of this last week and enjoyed the delicious dishes from the clay pot series as well as Gunpowder’s regular menu :
- Lamb shank with fresh black truffles served alongside Greek Trahanas pasta and mushrooms
- Dakshini duck with mustard pickled carrots
- Hay smoked jungli poussin in an indian earthenware pot
- Gunpowder chaat
- Tandoori chicken chop
- Moong dal payasam tart with coconut and butternut tuile for a sweet finish!
Always a delightful dinner at Gunpowder! .
