Zermatt 🇨🇭 Summer in the Swiss mountains has a special place in our hearts.

And whilst still a village, we love the huge diversity of Zermatt’s restaurants, bars, cafes and activities. Not to mention its incredible natural beauty and sheer volume of outdoor activities.

This week, we dropped by one the town’s iconic hotels to try @schweizerhof_zermatt kitchen.

Situated on the main Banhoffstrasse, the restaurant offered a modern yet cosy dinner with excellent food, a vibey dj set and a beautiful bar.

We felt transported back to London yet with alpine elegance.

The food and drinks - are mainly a mix of european including pizzas, salads, meats. But the stars of the show were the Peruvian additions, with favourites including:

- Suzuki ceviche: sea bass, truffle dressing, furikake, pink pepper and candied lemon
- Peruvian style chicken thigh: with a succulent aji amarillo antichuco marinade, chimichuri and a sweet potato stuffed with little yuzu.
- Topped off with a beautiful beetroot tequila cocktail 💃

Found a true hidden gem in @thebountifulcow - the female led steakhouse in Holborn celebrating its 20th anniversary. For this occasion they’ve teamed up with legendary "Meatologist" @meatologist_ioannis_grammenos for a delicious menu of locally sourced produce, as a part of their Meat Masters series all of August. Loved every dish here, with the highlights being the smoked cote de bœuf and truffle chicken with wild mushrooms! The other dishes were also delicious and included a grilled octopus with a fava bean purée, Greek salad with sirloin, and British beef tartare. Will definitely be back!!

One of our favourite casual joints - @gopalscorner - has opened its latest sites: at @markethalls Paddington!

We tried out a lot of their classic dishes- which always hit. the. spot. This included Banana Leaf Rice with fish curry 🍛 , chicken and mutton Roti Canai (fluffy paratha). Having grown up in Singapore we had to taste the Kari Laksa 🍜. All perfectly washed down with a Milo or ice tea!

Plus we loved the big screens showing the Euros Women’s - a perfect spot for Sunday’s match.

What a joy it was to experience the warmth of husband-wife duo Simon and Isabel as they brought their community together to truly embrace London summer!

From samba musicians and dancers waking up the sleepy Chelsea streets, to canapés bursting with flavours of the Lusophone world (inspired by Portugal, Mozambique, Goa, Brazil and much more) - this neighborhood local really knows how to host.

Can’t wait to be back on their sunny terrace sipping on white port spritz, along with their wonderful varied food - to the sound of music that’ll make you wanna move that booty 💃!

London 🇬🇧 We’re always looking for a brunch that does things beyond your avo toast or classic eggs.

And we certainly have a soft spot for middle eastern inspired breakfasts.

@villamamaslondon - a Bahraini spot in south Ken has just relaunched its brunch menu for the perfect, lazy summer’s day 🍃

In a leafy, relaxed indoor-outdoor setting we dug into a varied brunch menu that we loved , including:
- Sourdough Zataar Naan (fresh from the tandoor) topped with fragrant wild thyme, sesame and olive oil
- Bahraini Shakshuka deepens a familiar classic with layers of Khaleeji spice.
- Avocado bloom - creamy smashed avocado, pistachios, berries and crumbled feta
- Hummus with pine nuts and a dusting of sumac

Definitely one to drop by if you’re in the South Ken or Sloane Square area and are looking for something new!

London 🇬🇧 Hands down our favourite time of the year- Alphonso mango 🥭 season!

We got so excited to see one of our favourite Indian restaurants, the Michelin-starred @jamavarlondon , create a full tasting menu as an ode to the king of fruits. And wow was it special ✨

Surender Mohan and his team have created a limited menu (only available till 31st May!) - for both veg and non veg - which takes various forms of the mango (raw, chutney, marinade & more) to create six incredible courses.

Highlights included:
- Scallops Mangai Mappas mango chilli salsa, coconut cream & roasted Southern spices 🌶️
- Achari Murgh Tikka five-spiced chicken, pickled mango, mustard, garlic & chillies 🍗
- Lobster Manga Alleppey fenugreek, raw mango & Kerala spiced coconut milk 🦞
- Aamras Paani Poori, golden mango chunks, sprouts, potatoes & green mango spiced water

Not to mention it’s beautiful outside terrace overlooking the iconic Mount Street, #mayfair. Perfect for people watching 👀 & cocktail sipping 🍸

London 🇬🇧 Popped into @nipotinaristorante vibey Italian spot on North Audley a few weeks ago ✨

Ideal for a long lunch or dinner, it offers up your favourite Italian classics with a twist. 🍝

For example, Paccheri Pistachio Pesto, Luganega Sausage or Grilled Seabass, Scapece Courgette. We ended on a sweet note thanks to the Panna Cotta & Salted Caramel!

London 🇬🇧 Still thinking about our night at Clay Kitchen, a supper club near London Bridge where chef Varun’s latest menu blended South Indian flavours with Puglian classics — and somehow makes it all feel like comfort food.

Standouts: the assasina (fried spaghetti in a goan coconut cream sauce and prawns 🦐 ), the courgette flower kebab (with a spiced yoghurt-based stuffing), grilled sea bream with tandoori butter (perfectly fresh yet comforting), and a pistachio pasticciotto paired with delicious homemade chai.

We love supper clubs — they’re such a great way to meet new people but also try fresh, unexpected experiences with friends. Clay Kitchen nails both.

The menu changes monthly, driven by seasonality and global inspiration — so one to book before this menu wraps up (at only £45 per person). Upcoming dates include:

London 🇬🇧 Finally got to check out Notting Hill’s iconic neighborhood restaurant - @casacruzlondon - as it welcomes its new head chef, Jacob Rowley.

With it’s elegant copper-clad interiors and sprawling rooftop terrace, this place got us so excited for long spring and summer days with a cocktail in hand and a Mediterranean/ European bites in the other.

We were loved how Jacob and the team bring very unexpected flavours together - to make familiar dishes stand out.

For example, a favourite included the crispy chicken thigh 🍗, smoked eel sauce, potato hash brown, parmesan.

Others we loved included the josper grilled gambero rosso 🦐 and the middle eastern inspired lamb chops - succulent!

Finished off with this amazing chocolate rose gateau with pistachio and amaretto sauce 🍰
