Zermatt 🇨🇭 Summer in the Swiss mountains has a special place in our hearts.

And whilst still a village, we love the huge diversity of Zermatt’s restaurants, bars, cafes and activities. Not to mention its incredible natural beauty and sheer volume of outdoor activities.

This week, we dropped by one the town’s iconic hotels to try @schweizerhof_zermatt kitchen.

Situated on the main Banhoffstrasse, the restaurant offered a modern yet cosy dinner with excellent food, a vibey dj set and a beautiful bar.

We felt transported back to London yet with alpine elegance.

The food and drinks - are mainly a mix of european including pizzas, salads, meats. But the stars of the show were the Peruvian additions, with favourites including:

- Suzuki ceviche: sea bass, truffle dressing, furikake, pink pepper and candied lemon
- Peruvian style chicken thigh: with a succulent aji amarillo antichuco marinade, chimichuri and a sweet potato stuffed with little yuzu.
- Topped off with a beautiful beetroot tequila cocktail 💃
