London 🇬🇧 A restaurant with an underground secret 🤫
With historical links to @sandemanporto, in which barrels of Porto were rolled in underneath of the City of London in the 1700s, @thedonlondon is such an unexpected surprise!
Perfect for an after work dinner or to host a private dinner, the restaurant is now graced with chef Rowley Leigh’s spin on a menu inspired by its history.
We loved the accompanying wine paring - led by @davidgleavewines to a selection of beautifully executed dishes including:
- Figs carpaccio, burrata, olive oil and a chilli crumb 🌶️
- Raw Bluefin tuna, dripping toast, horseradish 🐟
- Red mullet, citrus fruits and olive oil, saffron mash 🎣
- Grilled lamb chops, butter bean purée, sauce vierge 🍖
