A special collaboration between @duddellshk and @silkshouse_taipei where two restaurants dedicated to preserving and elevating Cantonese culinary culture come together to exchange ideas and inspirations! A special collaboration between @duddellshk and @silkshouse_taipei where two restaurants dedicated to preserving and elevating Cantonese culinary culture come together to exchange ideas and inspirations! I had the pleasure of trying Silks House in Taipei earlier this year and was excited to see the synergy between Chef @maxwo_hoi_ming and Chef Chan. Both chefs brought their A game with highlights such as the Botan shrimp with Thai basil,, double-boiled chicken & squab soup, steamed lobster with minced pork patty,and mapo tofu with mud crab from Silks House and deep-fried egg custard, braised 23 heads dried abalone, and braised local beef brisket from Duddell’s.

Fancy and quite tasty dim sum at Duddell’s between work meetings. My only regret is that I was alone, and couldn’t sample as many things as wanted to.
