Discovered this place back in 2013, read a menu & realized that this was a Pakistani place, 12 years later we are still loyal patrons, authentic Kebabs, delicious Chole (chick peas) and made to order Kadai Chicken/ Mutton with fluffy fresh Tandoori Roti is a meal that still makes me swoon!

This 💯 Halal spot is cherished by many in University City, but if you are yet to discover Kabobeesh, I advice you to try their Malai Tikka and Lamb chop meals !

I’ve been hyping up @flavorrichrestaurant for YEARS, so imagine my joy when I heard that the genius behind it, Chef Chris, opened up a NEW spot @tastetheflavoratl, right on Windward Parkway in the old Palm 76 (or whatever it was called 🤷‍♂️).

🍤🥣 SWEET BABY HEY ZEUS, it delivered! Creole shrimp & grits like you’ve NEVER seen before—the grits? Fried Boursin grit cakes. The shrimp? PRAWNS. The sauce? An insane crab & crawfish Creole masterpiece. Slap-yo-mama greatness 🤯💥.

Normally, I don’t throw down proclamations after just one visit, but I KNOW Chef Chris' magic. So I’m saying it now—RUN, DON’T WALK 🏃‍♂️💨 for your next breakfast or lunch. Open 9-4 Tues-Fri, 8-4 weekends! It’s WAY bigger than the original Flavor Rich in Suwanee & now there’s a Midtown spot too. Most people go to Afghan restaurants for the meat, but I head straight to the dumplings. And this new spot, which is a second location of a longtime Astoria restaurant, makes the ultimate dumpling platter.

Not only is there beef mantu, but also a flatter boiled dumpling called aushak. Both are smothered in yogurt and tomato sauces, which make them slippery flavor boats. Oh man they’re so great.

This South Indian spot surprised me with how good their dynamite chicken 65 is. It’s fried and the chicken is crunchier and drier than your common dish. We really liked it and all the spice it came with 🥵

Kongu Biryani was delicious but it tasted more like a palao to me and lacked that biryani spice. Even though I told him to make it spicy..
