Looking for a little Baja escape without leaving LA? 🌴🌮☀️ We checked out @caravan.cantina @hoteljunewestla we instantly fell in love with the gorgeous poolside views and laid-back coastal vibe & the food is delicious!!
We kicked things off with a refreshing Frozé 🍓 made with vodka, rosé, strawberry, and lemon, a Frozen Classic Margarita 🍹 with blanco tequila, Combier, and fresh lime, and a Mango Limeade Refresco 🥭🍋 that was bright, refreshing, and perfect for a warm LA day.
For food, we started with the Queso Blanco (always a good idea 😉), then dug into the Grilled Fish Taco, the Octopus Aguachile Tostada loaded with chilled octopus, cucumber, avocado, and just the right amount of heat, plus the incredibly fresh Baja Ceviche with shrimp and fish served alongside crispy tortilla chips.
The Squash Blossom Quesadilla was packed with melty Oaxacan cheese, grilled squash, pickled onions, and cotija, while the star of the meal was the Pescado Sarandeado—a beautifully grilled wild seabass marinated with herbs and garlic, topped with fresh herbs and served with charred lemon. Absolute perfection.

FAMILY DINNER @enzospizzeria_ 🍕🇮🇹
One of our favorite family dinner spots in Westwood is Enzo’s because there truly is something for everyone on the menu. From giant pizzas to classic Italian comfort food, nobody leaves hungry.
The kids are obsessed with their HUGE New York-style pizzas—the bigger, the better! They’re perfect for feeding a crowd, birthday parties, game days, and honestly, the leftovers are just as good the next day.
We started with the Caesar salad and garlic knots, which is always the perfect combo. Then came my favorite: the Baked Ziti. Tender pasta tossed in marinara, layered with mozzarella and ricotta, and baked until bubbly and golden. The sauce clings to every bite of pasta perfectly, making it the ultimate comfort food.
We also had to order their Chicken Parm Sandwich, a fan favorite for good reason, and their Large Sausage Calzone. Stuffed with melty cheese and savory fillings, the crust is one of my favorite parts—soft, flaky, and baked to golden perfection. The ricotta inside makes every bite even better.
And of course, no Italian feast is complete without dessert. Their tiramisu was the perfect ending to the meal, with layers of espresso-soaked ladyfingers, rich mascarpone cream, and a dusting of cocoa that melts in your mouth.

I’m going to keep this short & sweet — @saoha.khaosoi has to be on your list for some of the best Northern Thai food in LA. Their new Studio City spot is worth the drive.
We went for lunch and started with the Butterfly lemonade, Pink milk drink, Thai tea, papaya salad, and chicken satay with the creamiest peanut sauce + refreshing cucumber relish. We also tried their pork jerky with Nam Jim Jaew dipping sauce for the first time ever and immediately understood why people love it — so much flavor and one of our favorite bites of the meal.
Their signature Crispy Chicken Khao Soi is a must with the rich coconut curry broth, egg noodles, and crispy chicken cooked perfectly. And if you want to treat yourself, order the Golden Surf & Turf with torched Japanese A5 Wagyu and seared Hokkaido scallops because WOW.

Started with drinks — the Es Cendol (our favorite, so refreshing) + a beer 🍺
Roti Paratha (flaky, buttery, dipped in curry… sooo good) Martabak Telor new for us and I can’t believe we never had it before (savory, crispy, that sweet chili sauce 👌)
We shared everything (best way to do it): Char Kway Teow — smoky noodles with all the good stuff Nasi Goreng Jawa — a little spicy, super comforting Kalio Chicken Curry + coconut rice — rich, flavorful, honestly could eat this again right now.
And our go to The #8 Nasi Bungkus
Tradition in one wrap. Chicken curry, beef rendang, sambal egg, vegetable curry, and rice wrapped in banana leaves 🤤 a must get !!
Ended with both desserts because we had to: Martabak Manis — sweet pancakes chocolate & nutty & Black Rice Pudding — warm, creamy, and my favorite of the two

🏈 🦬 Buffalo Bills themed spot with a Buffalo-style sammie that’s crispy, saucy, and exactly what you want 🐔🔥 We kicked things off with their homemade lemonades (the Loganberry Lemonade = sweet, tangy, obsessed ❤️‍🔥) A great 🍺 beer selection while catching a game 🍻
🍟 TRUFF + Parm Fries = triple cooked, crispy, rich, and covered in truffle + parmesan goodness… unreal
🔥 Sichuan Style Wings = hot, sweet, umami bombs with that honey + scallion… MUST order
🥪 Buff Style Sammie = crispy thigh, blue cheese, all the classics done right
🌶️ Sichuan Bird Sammie = spicy, messy, and so worth it
And don’t even think about skipping dessert…

What a treat to be invited to a special media dinner by Chef Michele Galifi at @bianca_siciliantrattoria — a beautiful spot in the Arts District serving traditional Sicilian dishes with a contemporary touch (and a gorgeous covered patio that’s perfect for date night).
Here’s a little of the deliciousness we experienced:
Started with a light 🦐 Cocktail di Gamberi — pan-seared shrimp, radicchio, butter lettuce & grissini.
🍚Then the Arancine — fried rice balls filled with ham, mozzarella & béchamel… my absolute favorite of the night.
🍕 Pizza time:
Diavola — smoked scamorza, hot soppressata, garlic, Sicilian chili & oregano.
Asparagus Pizza — smoked scamorza, crispy prosciutto & lemon ricotta. An absolute must for pizza and asparagus lovers — perfect for sharing… or not 😉
Of course we had to try the classic 🍝 Bolognese — rigatoni with a rich pork & beef ragù, paired with a beautiful Gurrieri Frappato (100% Frappato) — A+.
And instead of ending the night with dessert, we finished with 🐠 Baramundi al Salmoriglio — crispy-skin white fish topped with bright salsa verde.
Everything was incredible, but honestly what made the night so special was watching Chef Michele prepare the dishes and bring his Sicilian flavors to life right in front of us. The pizza is perfection and the whole experience felt warm, authentic, and so welcoming.
If you’re in the Arts District and looking for a romantic date night or a cozy dinner with amazing food, this spot absolutely deserves a reservation. 🍷🍕

If you’re looking for real Japanese comfort ramen, you need to try @tenkaippin_usa in Little Tokyo. 🍜
This iconic ramen shop has 200+ locations in Japan and their signature bowl — Kotteri ramen — is famous for its unbelievably thick, rich chicken broth. It’s the kind of ramen that coats every noodle and feels like the ultimate comfort food.
Start with the Creamy Egg Potato Salad and asparagus tempura for the table. So good!
Then go all in on the Kotteri Max with pork & onions. The noodles are perfect and that broth… rich, creamy, and insanely satisfying. It’s one of those bowls you keep thinking about after you leave.
If you love ramen, this one is a must try in Little Tokyo. 🍜

🏀🍻 If you’re looking for a spot to watch the game, hang with friends, and eat really well… this is it! & Their weekday happy hour is one of the best!
Here’s what we ordered 👇
We kicked things off with the Shoyu Chicken Wings — an absolute must for the table. So flavorful and perfectly crispy.
Also loved the Crispy Brussels Sprouts (always a good call).
My personal favorite: Dad’s Famous Char Siu Banh Mi — slow roasted char siu pork, pickled veggies, cilantro, mayo & jalapeño on a crispy baguette with fries. SO good.
The Shrimp Po’ Boy was another standout — creamy basil sauce, spicy aioli, lettuce & tomatoes with tots on the side.
We also tried the Pesto Pasta (basil, pine nuts, parmesan, linguine) and added salmon on top… highly recommend that move.
And of course we had to end on a sweet note:
