I’m going to keep this short & sweet — @saoha.khaosoi has to be on your list for some of the best Northern Thai food in LA. Their new Studio City spot is worth the drive.
We went for lunch and started with the Butterfly lemonade, Pink milk drink, Thai tea, papaya salad, and chicken satay with the creamiest peanut sauce + refreshing cucumber relish. We also tried their pork jerky with Nam Jim Jaew dipping sauce for the first time ever and immediately understood why people love it — so much flavor and one of our favorite bites of the meal.
Their signature Crispy Chicken Khao Soi is a must with the rich coconut curry broth, egg noodles, and crispy chicken cooked perfectly. And if you want to treat yourself, order the Golden Surf & Turf with torched Japanese A5 Wagyu and seared Hokkaido scallops because WOW.
