Jenseits meiner Lieblingsrestaurants in Deutschland – Victors Fine Dining von Christian Bau, Tulus Lotrek von Max Strohe und dem Söl’ring Hof von Jan-Philipp Berner – habe ich einen neuen Ort entdeckt, an dem ich am liebsten jeden Tag essen würde. Leider nicht in Hamburg, aber trotzdem besonders: das Café Frieda. Eine leise Erinnerung daran, wie gut zeitlose Küche sein kann. Comfort Food, klug editiert, großartiger Service, gute Weine. Mehr brauche ich eigentlich nicht.

PS: Wären das Café Frieda und das Restaurant Jörg Müller in Hamburg – ich würde wohl einfach jeden zweiten Tag abwechseln.
