The smash burger at Che Butter Jonez is a culinary delight. The Maillard effect is perfectly executed, resulting in a crispy, caramelized exterior that enhances every bite. The roll complements the patty beautifully, making it a top contender in the metro area. In my book, it easily ranks in the top 3-5 burgers around. 🍽️

Tight Spaces, Big Flavors

Here's the trade-off: navigating the parking lot is reminiscent of the tight squeeze at Sean Doty's Best and Wurst restaurants. But trust me, once you take that first bite, you'll know it was worth the effort. Despite the parking woes, the burger's flavor profile is a serious win. 🚗

We were kindly invited for a lunch at The Dew Drop Inn recently, and we already cant wait to return! The chef kindly prepared us a few dishes to share and there is not a single thing we didnt enjoy:

Oxtail hash with aoli, fresh break with mackerel pate, the flakyest fish and chips with home made tartar sauce, Cape Malay Lamb Bobotie (a South African curry) and Truffle mac and cheese. For desert we were treated to affogato and sticky toffee pudding!

The curry, mac and cheese and the sticky toffee were particular highlights!!

Sarah, Marius and the team were so friendly and welcoming, and have adopted some local cats and a dog which of course (being cat parents ourselves) we loved! 🌳🌳 Less

I need more Nepalese food in my life! When I looked at the menu at @dawasnyc in Sunnyside, Queens, I have to admit that I didn’t recognize most of the dishes on there.

This was my second visit in two weeks, but I had to take Pam because I think the place is sophisticated and so interesting. This dish was called chana gwaramari, and was basically spiced chickpeas with tomato chutney and these incredible fried bread puffs. So, kinda healthy?

I love this spot, can’t wait to try everything on the menu.

This Kuwaiti spot has over 20 locations and it just opened its first Texas location 🔥
We loved their freeze drinks and their croffle. This is definitely a top 10 new spot of 2025 ‼️

They are still in there soft opening phase but have turned a lot of heads already. We will be coming here a lot 🤤

Uni has won Best Sushi in Boston multiple times — but also shows up as one of the most controversial picks in my chart. I skipped the $250 omakase and ordered off the regular menu… and while there were a couple standouts, most of it didn’t justify the steep price.
