Finally made it to Di An Phở, and it absolutely lived up to the hype 🍜

The phở is everything. A deep, rich broth that’s been simmered for over 18 hours, tender slices of beef or chicken, and perfectly soft noodles that soak up all that flavor. It all comes together in a really fresh, balanced way.

The spring rolls were really clean with a nice crunch, and every drink we tried was refreshing and the whipped toppings so smooth and creamy, it made the whole meal even better. We left already planning our next visit.

My favorite sandwiches in SF— Deli Board. It’s a small, no‑frills lunch spot known for stacked sandwiches with house-roasted meats, quality bread, and bold flavors. Generous portions and sandwiches that hit every time.
I couldn’t wait to try it again after having it on my last trip to SF. It still ranks as the best sandwich I’ve had in the city. Thanks to my in‑laws for introducing it to us.

If you’re going, get there early. The place is tiny, consistently packed, and it’s worth planning your day around.

Houston’s Brisket & Rice blends classic Texas BBQ with Asian-inspired flavors, all served in a casual, friendly atmosphere. They’re known for smoky, tender meats and hearty comfort food. The restaurant earned a Michelin Guide Recommended nod in both 2024 and 2025 for consistent quality and standout BBQ.

We came hungry and tried a little bit of everything, and it all delicious. We can’t stop thinking about the pork ribs. Absolutely amazing.

NEW Pizza spot in Houston — Brought the whole family to the new Murray’s Pizza & Wine, and it was a hit with everyone! Cozy inside, an inviting outdoor patio, and service that was excellent from start to finish. Everything we tried was delicious, especially the Local Lettuces salad, Meatballs, and Crudo.

Go with a group so you can try all the pizzas. Leftovers are a bonus because the pizza still tastes incredible the next day. That crust is so good. It’s chewy, lightly blistered, with just the right crunch. Murray’s really nails it. And their Prosciutto & Arugula pizza is the best version I’ve had in Houston.

For dessert, don’t miss the Italian Bread Pudding. I’m usually not a bread pudding fan, but this one won me over, especially with a scoop of pistachio gelato. Such a great, family-friendly spot that we’ll definitely be back to!
