NEW in Houston — PopUp Bagels has officially arrived in Houston with its first local location in Town & Country Village, bringing its viral East Coast bagel concept to the city. Known for serving hot, unsliced bagels with its signature “Grip, Rip, and Dip” experience, the shop pairs freshly baked bagels with house-made schmears for a simple but memorable take on the classic bagel. I tried going the first week after they opened on a Wednesday afternoon, but the line was wrapped around the building. I went back the next week on a Thursday morning and there wasn’t a line at all. If you want to play it safe and avoid waiting, I’d recommend ordering online ahead of time.
