Incredible meal at Jungsik. Each dish was so creative, with thoughtful layers of flavor throughout. Three Michelin stars and ranked no.18 on North America’s 50 Best Restaurants list, which makes total sense after our visit.

We reserved seats at the bar so we could order à la carte, which ended up being a really fun way to try some of their signature dishes. But in retrospect, for a first visit I think I would have loved experiencing the dining room and doing the full tasting menu. The bar feels more like the ideal second visit once you already know your favorites and want to come back for specific dishes.

Still one of my favorite meals I’ve ever had in NYC.
