December dinner at @k.rox_kutan. Crab, fugu, kawahagi, and many more delicious winter treats. Always a great meal.

Another great meal at @k.rox_kutan. Bold move to omit meat and just do course after course of excellent snow crab. (Matsubagani, or 松葉ガニ)

Deeply beautiful late-summer kaiseki from @k.rox_kutan. These are just some highlights - the whole meal would take a few posts. Strongly recommend you go, the food is excellent and the service is warm and charming.

A few highlights from a brilliant and subtle dinner at Kutan (久丹). This newcomer, just nine months old but with a great pedigree, is going to be impossible to book soon. Smart food, delightful staff, great wine and saké choices. @k.rox_kutan and his team are doing fantastic work. I can’t wait to visit again and see how they evolve.
