July 4, 2025 Chef @markbirchall has had quite a year! First, Michelin awards his Moor Hall ⭐️⭐️⭐️, only the 2nd UK restaurant outside of greater London to receive that honor followed by the National Restaurant Association’s choice of him as Chef🧑‍🍳 of the Year. To those accolades, we nominate him for being amongst the most gracious hosts in the country. The entire Moor Hall experience is simply wonderful; the ideal one (or two) day getaway. Gorgeous grounds, a one ⭐️ restaurant (The Barn @thebarnmh) for lunch as well as breakfast, superb accommodations and, of course, stunning local and regional product on the plate with Chef Mark and his teams masterful and subtle touches. We have already planned our return.

July 5, 2025 Twenty One years ago, Michelin bestowed ⭐️⭐️⭐️ upon @christianbau, who was then the youngest German Chef to ever receive that honor. Fast forward to today where he has become the dean of the modern German kitchen, retaining his 3 stars and recently honored with the prestigious Michelin Mentor Award. His cuisine remains superb with unparalleled presentations and the service team under @nina.mann ‘s direction is polished and refined. @christianbau and @_sarahbau_ - it is always wonderful to see you; thank you 🙏🏻 for so many wonderful memories over so many years.

August 28, 2025 A return to Hamburg to visit the 2nd of Germany’s new Michelin ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ restaurants located in the majestic Vier Jahreszeiten Hotel. Long rumored as a 3 star candidate, the persistence and excellence of Chef @christoph_rueffer_haerlin and his team was finally and justly rewarded. A special surprise for us by Chef and dining room manager @j.marius_ was to inaugurate the newly renovated Chef’s table adjacent to the kitchen.
