🌮🔥 Better than average Tex-Mex with some authentic Mexican flavors at @fiestabaryparrilla! 🇲🇽 It’s next to & owned by San Miguel, Alpharetta Highway in Roswell.

👩‍🍳 Wife stuck with her usual fajitas 🌶️, while I went for the barbacoa nachos 🧀🥩—a bit salty, but definitely among the better spots around!

👎 Service? Not so much. Waitresses spent more time chatting & scrolling 📱 than taking care of customers.

Make that SEVEN restaurants in #RoswellGA 🍽️ that have opened up within the last year and is top-notch! @mashawi_mediterranean, which appears to have the same owners as @ameers_mediterranean_grill in #AtlantaEats, was a superb first bite. 😋

The concept is similar to some southern places like Buckner’s and Smith House, where they bring food to your table for you to chow down. 🍖 It’s somewhat analogous to a Brazilian steakhouse. This is my favorite AYCE since the Ritz Carlton Sunday buffet, at least based on the first bite. 🤩

Since my plate didn’t look great after having some hummus, baba ganoush, and other salads, I was careful with the pictures I shared so as not to sabotage my love for this place. Remember, my photos are placeholders for my infallible reviews! 📸 I’m a hungry grubber, not a meticulous photog!

One complaint: upon reviewing the menu when I got home, we were shortchanged on the seafood 🦐, but I only noticed this after I got home and looked over the menu again, so I didn't say anything while I was there. That being said, I was stuffed beyond all heck and in a good way!

Lamb chops and manaf are my faves. As you know, Mrs. Grub isn’t as adventurous, but I agree with her admiration of the chicken schnitzel. 🍗 Corn salad, beet salad, and hummus topped the list of sizzling apps and sides. 🥗

I’m also a big fan of Passador Steakhouse down the street, a churrascaria, but pending further research, this appears to be my #1 all-you-can-eat. 🥇 Run, don’t walk, and be prepared to wobble out. Mint lemon juice was also very good. 🍋

🚀✨ Great debut meal at @beymediterranean in @southernpostga! 🍽️ Remember, your #AtlantaGrubber’s superpowers 💪 are spot-on recommendations, but sorting Persian 🇮🇷, Middle Eastern 🌍, Afghani 🇦🇫…etc. cuisine? Not so much 😅. The super-friendly owner shared that Bey is proudly Lebanese 🇱🇧!

🔥 Guuurl, that kibbeh nayeh (Lebanese-style beef tartare) was 🔝💯. This version used beef (though raw lamb is common) and was insanely good. Anyone recall Slovakia in Marietta Square from way back? 🕰️ This might’ve even topped that. Ultra-finely ground into a pate-like texture, it held together perfectly and was lightly seasoned to let the quality shine. 🌟 Definitely #RunDontWalk! 🚶‍♀️➡️💨

🐟 The grilled Spanish branzino was also fantastic—probably the best since the heartbreaking closure of Nurr 😢.

😬 Glitch alert: Mrs. Grubber’s grilled chicken taouk arrived cold, barely above room temp. ❄️ But props to the team—they replaced it ASAP and nailed it! 🙌 The yogurt marinade? A+ pairing. 💯

🍹 Tried both the Beyhattan and Beirut Old Fashioned. A tad sweeter than my usual, but both were top-notch with unique brown liquors. 🥃👌

🚨 Sandwich Alert 🚨 Rumor has it I’m obsessed with sandwiches. 🥪 Guilty as charged—I started the rumor! 😏 On my foodie wish list for metro Atlanta: a hot brown. I've had THE iconic one at the Brown Hotel in Louisville 🏨 and even a biscuit version (scroll back to my feed from the second week of September this year for details 🕵️‍♂️). That was also in the Bourbon City.

👀 Spotted a creative twist: @themillkitchenandbar in Roswell offers a duck confit version! 🦆 For those who don’t know, a classic hot brown typically features turkey 🦃. The Mill’s take? Unique and delicious—an inspired spin on this Louisville classic. 💯 Definitely a strong contender for my next highly anticipated 🏆 #BestOfAtlanta sandwich list.

🌟 Nice debut at @voodooroswell! Despite being a franchise, they’ve got some flexibility, and I ❤️ that they use Mission Bakery for their bread. The 🥖 sourdough from said local baker took their club sandwich to another level. You know Mrs. Grub loves her 🥨 pretzels, and we agreed this big mutha was better than most! The honey and mustard (not honey mustard—just as advertised 🍯 + 🟡) was a nice twist, and the 🧀 beer cheese was legit.

💃 Wife loved the homemade 🥗 ranch dressing. 👦 Son went for 🍕, and the bride picked triple garlic 🐓 wings—saw them on social and decided then and there where to eat! 🍺 Don’t Leave Me Edith was a standout American IPA. I would’ve had more but was easing back from a short-term no-alcohol 🩺 restriction. The beer menu featured some awesome guest options like Ghost in the Machine and a stout from Two Tides, one of GA’s 🍑 best breweries. Great to see local bar legend @idrinkbeerok running the FOH!

🚀 Only open a few days, and it’s already better-than-average bar food. While I have plenty of 🍕 places depending on the style I crave, I might just go wild and try that 🥒 pickle pizza next time. 🍝✨ Been to all three @granaatl spots from @chefpatpascarella, and tonight was the friends & family event at the new Roswell location! 🎉 Official opening is Thursday, so get ready! 🍽️

🔹 Best pasta yet: the paccheri Genovese with short rib – superb. 🥇
🔹 You know Abby Grubber and I 🥖🦪 always share mussels, and this broth had a killer kick. 🔥
🔹 Meatball flight? Tried it twice, but stuck to my fave tonight: the nonna’s with veal, beef, and sausage. 👌 Iconic and what Grana’s arguably most famous for. 🧆🍅

🍰 Everyone loved everything, especially the design-your-own cannoli. 🥳 Perfect for Mrs. Grub, who’s all about red sauce Italian. 🇮🇹

🏢 Roswell location = fancier than Woody's with a huge third-floor deck 🌇 and an awesome bar area 🍸. Midtown = takeout only for me, but this feels like the biggest of the three, especially with the outdoor space.

👏 Great anchor spot for the @southernpostga LWP development. Grana is a win. 🎯
