Casetta Kitchen and Counter Madison

We've found a lot of good places to eat in Madison, WI 🍽️, but few "run, don't walk" 🏃‍♂️💨 quality. That changed today at @casettakitchen, just a bit off the square. The Paradigm: "Spicy soppressata, mozzarella, spicy tomato vinaigrette, mayo, arugula, roasted peppers" 🥪🔥. In-house focaccia bread is fantastic 🍞👌. I noticed how great the mozzarella was, then remembered, oh yeah, we’re in Wisconsin 🧀💡. On special occasions, they make their own cheese, but otherwise it's locally sourced! 🧑‍🍳🍴

You know this complaint – I'd like more meat, but the bread is so good, maybe the decent amount of meat let it shine 🌟. Big fan of the pasta fagioli soup too 🍲👍. Also, a solid house-made chocolate chip cookie 🍪😋. Trip #3, close to 30 meals in Madtown, and this is top 5 or better 🔝. We don’t waste a meal EVER! 💯
