🍺 ROUND TRIP BREWING EAST COBB 🍻

First visit to @roundtripbeer_ec, and it was a good experience! 🎉 I think this is a satellite spot, with the beer brewed at their West Midtown location and brought over here. 🍻 There were some mini-vats, so maybe they make small batches at The Avenues of East Cobb too. Either way, I’m an IPA guy at heart, but I went with the German theme and got a pilsner. 🇩🇪 It was really good! 👍

I’m pretty sure only the East Cobb location serves in-house food. Even though I’d usually stick with the German vibe, I had to try the cheesesteak! 🧀🥩 It was on an Amoroso roll (even though I’ve told you before, it’s a Philly tourist myth that a cheesesteak has to be on one 😅). They used ribeye and offered Whiz as an option, so on paper looked potentially legit.

In Philly, the ribeye is semi-frozen, sliced super thin, and chopped on the grill. 🔪 Here, it seemed pre-chopped and thicker, more like it was made for Texas chili. Still, it was an acceptable sandwich. 👌 My wife got her two favorites: beer pretzel 🥨 and fried pickles. 🥒 Both were good, but the beer cheese was the real standout! 🧀✨

Nice outdoor area, solid bar food, and I’m loving the focus on German beers 🍺 (even though they had an IPA, too). Shoutout to @naprop1954 for keeping The Avenues trending in the right direction! 👏
