In all my years as a food snob, not sure I’ve seen a chain generate as much hype as the new @mistero1pizza 🍕 in Sandy Springs, in City Springs, where The General Muir once was. Famed pizza hound @stoolpresidente 🐕🦺 gave the original Miami location an 8.9 🥇, which is among his higher-rated places.
I’m not a pizza purist 🍕🚫, so I happily went with non-traditional toppings and chose the ruben 🥪, spelled with only one “e” on the menu. I like good AND unique 👍✨. In addition to the unconventional toppings, Mister 01 has its own style. It’s super thin, not-quite cracker-like 🍴. Wife, of course, got pepperoni 🥓🍕. We both liked! Early on, this chain isn’t top 10 in metro Atlanta 📍🍑, but of course, I need to try them again down the road 🚗.
It’s good enough that we’re VERY happy to see they have a Boynton Beach location 🌴🍽️. That’s where FIL lives, and good food has been a struggle to find there 😅, including some highly-rated Delray Beach ones 🏖️. It’s recommended ✔️, but the new Sandy Springs location didn’t have us doing the cartwheels 🤸 the advanced billing had us hoping for.
