Squid Noodle, Red pepper puree, Asparagus and miso sauce - Outstanding combination!!

Dry aged ribeye, Jalapeno, Crispy Shallot, Potato Puree , Broccolini

Shishito Peppers, Chili Yogurt & coriander

Lobster ‘Corona Ripiena’ - last time i tried this it was in a mushroom sauce- this time in dashi, olive oil - loved the fresh take on it!

Young lettuce, green goddess, gouda , cashew and granny smith apples

This is my third visit to Atera and keeps being my favorite Kitchen Counter in NYC. Elegant setting with smart and attentive service in addition of one of the best beverage programs highlighting tea and non alcoholics. Food highlights the main ingredients with just a couple of components in each dish. Pure flavors.

I might have rated this meal higher if the price wasn't so steep, but this dinner gave me sticker shock since perception of value is part of the experience. The non-alcoholic drinks come out to about $23 per glass and I don't naturally consume 6 drinks at any meal. It appears the Temperance price has gone down to $105 since my visit, but the total price for this truly lovely cooking... More
