An omakase at @kiwami.nyc is always a treat, especially at the end of a long day. This thoughtfully crafted meal starts with a number of small plates, including an Uni Tempura with sweet potato, Ankimo, and Unagi. The nigiri follows, and we loved the Tuna (Otoro and Akami), King Salmon, and Uni - and finishes with the classic hand roll and a Hojicha Crème Brûlée. It’s a transportive experience in a calming ambiance, right next to the Brooklyn waterfront!

This luxe venue makes for an upscale experience, serving up countless platters of sushi and maki, baos and burgers, shu mai and dumplings, carved pork belly and steak… plus an incredible dessert station featuring a chocolate fondue fountain! It made it that much harder to pick what to order, but every single dish was packed with flavor and they didn’t hold back on the spice. This elegant #midtowneast restaurant offers a relaxed vibe with a menu featuring traditional and modern Japanese plates. We loved the nigiri and maki offered, and the Thai flavors in the kanpachi and curry were the hidden stars!
