“Howoo” translates to both “Good Meat” and “Rain Shower” in Korean — a name that reflects the sound of beef hitting the grill and the restaurant’s deep respect for quality and detail. Each cut is grilled tableside and served at its peak, with seasonal banchan, aged salts, and in-house milled rice rounding out the experience.
From A5 Miyazaki wagyu to galbi and naengmyeon made with lotus leaf noodles, this is KBBQ done with intention — rooted in tradition, refined for right now.
Swipe left to see highlights of each dish!
We ordered the “Elite Package,” which included:
Miyazaki A5 Wagyu Filet Mignon
Snow Marble Short Rib
Miyazaki Citrus A5 Wagyu Striploin
Marinated Diamond-Cut Short Rib
Note: (They ran out of the filet, so we swapped it for a 35-day dry aged prime ribeye.)
The set includes ban-chan, egg soufflé, ssam set, mahn-saeng-jong kettle pot rice, stew, cold noodle, homemade kimchi, soy seasoned bellflower root, and Nok-cha soft serve (Boseong green tea).
