Today we are at @roccarivieramuc which brings the flashy cocktails and stylish crowd with a menu that’s clearly aiming to impress 🕺💃🍸

We’re talking truffle-covered tarte flambée, creamy burrata, and a €175 côte de boeuf that brought out my inner Viking.

Some dishes delivered while others felt like more style than substance but that steak came dangerously close to perfection.

Recommended bowl: Crushable for all

The house-recommended bowl here is served with a light paitan soup, made with chickens from Miyagi Prefecture, niboshi, kombu and vegetables. All ingredients are sourced domestically. The soup boils for nine hours on high heat before complete, then is reheated in a wok before being served. Made lighter and with less oil compared to many other ramen shops, with the intention of each bowl being easy to crush for customers of all ages. Noodles are ordered via Sagamiya Seimen. At Etxebarri @asadoretxebarrioficial some of the dishes reach heights of deliciousness that are truly next level and almost surreal. Those include the teardrop peas, the beetroot and milk ice cream and the steak. Today we’re at the legendary @konghanskaelder in Copenhagen, a true icon in Danish fine dining and 2 star @michelinguide
For Easter, I went to try their special lunch, hoping for feast. But from the start, something felt off… Crispy blinis, dry bread, mustard-heavy sauces, the mistakes kept pilling up.

There were moments of brilliance, like the fjord shrimp with mousseline and the quail ravioli, but overall the food lacked the finesse and flavor you expect at this level. When you have to ask for salt and pepper at a 2-star restaurant, you know something’s not right.

Service was polite and attentive, but a strange vibe hung in the air. Some tables got special attention from the chef, others were left untouched. At this level, all guests should feel equally valued.

Maybe it was just a bad day. But for the old King of Copenhagen, expectations are higher.
