One of the few proper beef places in Tokyo. Tucked away just off nishi-azabu crossing, this was an overperformer for me. I like the choice cuts of beef here.. nothing overwhelmingly fatty and there was a good volume of food. High level of execution for each course and service was tip top.. coupled with an atmosphere which parallels to some of the top kappo or kaiseki restaurants

Niku kappo Jo 肉割烹上 2nd visit — 1st visit was 4 years ago which I enjoyed a lot, and this time the food has gotten even more refined. The meal was wagyu focused but not too heavy, balanced with a few seasonal fish dishes. The dan dan noodle and beef curry rice were a great way to finish the meal. •
