Public petition:
let’s stop serving bread as a “moment”.

Bread is not a course.
It’s companionship, connection, salvation.

At CURA, the rule almost collapses.
This milk bread — soft, gently sweet, served with Azorean butter and green olive oil — is so good it almost makes us forgive the trend… almost.

Sign the petition or not.
Just keep serving me bread like this. All through the meal.
I’ll deal with the calories.
And Mounjaro.

A house learning to stand on its own.

At CURA, the weight of inheritance is present - but it doesn’t immobilise.

This isn’t a perfect restaurant.
It’s a restaurant in evolution - and in the context of a Michelin star, evolution should matters far more than stagnant perfection.

In the dining room, there’s that good tension — the kind that belongs to a team determined to grow without losing its footing.
And in the middle of it all, dishes that make clear where the restaurant wants to go.

I don’t know what pastry chefs have been doing during lockdowns but in my return to restaurants I’ve been discovering the most amazing desserts. This “Azorian pinapple | miso | pumpkin seeds | timut pepper” @curalisboa is another gem. Do not leave the place without tasting it
