When the weather cools in HK, the time is ripe for claypot rice. My colleagues brought me to this hole-in-a-wall restaurant in Sheung Wan. Manned by the lady boss herself, the place is so popular that ardent queues extend to well beyond 9 pm.

People say Kwan Kee Claypot Rice (坤記煲仔小菜) has the best claypot rice with 30+ choices and 24 years of experience. It's so busy here that you have to make reservations to avoid a 3 hour wait. Each claypot takes 45 min to prepare. And wow, it was totally worth it! Kwan Kee takes claypot rice to the next level. ?
