Last restaurant meal of 2025 was the sopa tarasca at Xaman Cafe. A super underrated dish at a restaurant I think I've been guilty of underrating. Comforting, smooth soup of black bean and warming chile, with all the right toppings. Nothing better when it's 50 degrees outside. Happy new year, everyone.
Yo, late to the party but Chomp Pizza in the 18th St CTA station is legit. I’m not a huge New York slice fan but this simple cheese slice with great edge structure and a sooty booty is most definitely my jam. Be nice to Travis the owner. He’s a one man band.
